Interesting point. Manny has thrived in the past against fighters who came to him and I can't see Algerie doing that, however I see Algerie as a class below Manny with not enough power to keep him honest. One can have difficulty against a spoiler especially if you are going into the fight looking for a KO. When this fight was first announced I thought it was a keep busy fight for Manny with little risk because the Mayweather fight was a done deal, just not announced. A couple of years ago I would have predicted a ko for Manny, part of me still feels that way but Manny hasn't displayed that killer instinct for quite a while now and that's why I feel it will go to the cards with Manny declared the winner. The fact that Algerie was a Friday Night Fights attraction just a couple of fights ago has me drawing parallels with Cotto / Rodriquez. I'll see if I can find any of Algeries' past performances on youtube.

Chris can win this if he fights smart. I can guarantee you that.
His ring IQ (as proven in his fight against Provo -- a very underrated win) is really high, and if Pac continues to fight the way he does against Rios and Bradley (when I can honestly say for the first time that he looked "gun shy"), Chris will jab him, take a step back and then circle out as soon as Pac tries to engage and it will be easy.
The only question here is will he be able to deal with Pac's speed. Because if he can't, this will resemble the Mosley fight.

Dude Margarito lost his very next fight after Cotto and got caught cheating at that. Cotto-Margo happened at the end of 08 so it took this guy 2 years after calling out Mayweather & 16 years into his career to get a win worth fighting him for and he followed that up by getting KO'd and disgraced.

The fact is Margarito won't rate higher than any fighter Mayweather has fought from 06 till now except Ortiz.
