Billy do you think the jaw has had a psychological efeect on ricky and contributed to his run of poor form ?

Ricky said it didn't and in sparring there was no sign of it, although I believe he got his eyes opened against Gonzalez before he pulled it out the fire in the 7th round
I believe Ricky never got the credit he should have after that fight, far to much negatively imo

Id agree there mate he pulled it out and would of went on to stop celo , since then the rapid decline is baffling how a fighter can take such a big drop in form and confidence , somethings defo missing from ricky theese days , wetather its the hunger or maybe a change in outlook since his kid arrived i just dunno but rickys not looked the same since beltran , Still amazed that Celo hasnt fought since ricky i wonder if hes chucked it

I actually think he'd give Crawford a run for his money top top fighter Gonzalez

Out of interest Billy as you have worked close with both, who do you think is the best coach Peter Harrison or Joe Gallagher? I know you asked Ryan on a thread that question, obviously both are very good but whos' best from what you have seen? And before people jump on bandwagon I know Joe is better stable, but a lot of that's down to location (taking nothing away from him, clearly an outstanding coach)

    This x2 :deal

The most annoying "tactic" that burns seems to have develop is laying on the ropes and letting his opponent unload on him - on his gloves admittedly but Ricky never used to do that.

    Three tactics are required:

    1. Use the jab.
    2. Use the jab some more.
    3. See 1 + 2.
