    Ha!

    Quality mate!

You know how much I love Roy, but I don't love him THAT much.

    Ha!

I don't want to be looking at any uncensored shots.

Yes it does, the FIRST time you fight him. That's why Calzaghe never gave anyone a second chance to fight him. His dad knew that Joe was a very awkward fighter and the opponent had no way to prepare for him, and had to figure him out during the fight itself.

Calzaghe gives anyone in boxing history a 50/50 fight.

It depends on whatever your criteria is.

There's so much to take into consideration.

    That's fine.

Resume should be one of the top things to consider when rating a fighter.

For me: Accomplishments, their skills, who they fought, at what point, the manner of their victories, their dominance etc.

I also like to go on the eye test, and head to head.

When I look at Roy in his prime, I can't envisage too many fighters beating him between MW-LHW.

He used to throw combos and lead shots etc, that I've never seen any other guy do.

So he'd definitely be in my top ten.

    But I'm only 34.

I've also no issue whatsoever with people not having him anywhere near their top ten though.

    Each to their own.

Honestly you really don't. Let's just say that if you did see them you would have to move Roy down a few places on your ATG list. lol

Not sure who you and your boys are?
Ward hasnt had 46 fights or world title fights at LHW.
Also Calzaghe wasnt on wobbly legs and having to hold. Big difference

Prime Roy stops calslappy within 5 rounds. Prime Roy would have EASILY finished joe calslappy when he knockeed him down!

There was a reason calslappy held on to the wbo titl. Instead of getting one of the traditional belts at the time. Soft touches!

    Explain that please.
Who should Calzaghe have defended his belt against at SMW that was willing to face him.
Also explain how when he has the best SMW resume ever, how it can be soft touches.
Arguably Eubank has the next best SMW resume and that was also WBO.
Collins defended against Eubank and Benn in a relatively short reign and that was also WBO.

Also how was any other belt more traditional? The belts are all of similar age due to when the division was formed

Whos to say Roy would have knocked him down?
Just because a KD happens in one fight doesnt mean it happens everytime. Look at Froch/Groves or Hopkins/Pascal as examples. :patsch

People still harping on about the illegal clothesline forearm KD.

If prime Roy got caught by one of those coach Merk would've had to get the smelling salts out to resurrect him from the dead. lol

As you note, not even a scoring shot and one that Calzaghe was up straight away from and not having to hold and going on the attack
