    That is just so gimmicky and dumb. You aren't going to be fighting blindfolded, it serves no purpose. It certainly didn't help him at all when Brook took him to school.

    That eyes closed punching thing is what caused him to get his shyt pushed in by Brooks jabs and straights, this teaches bad habits....

    Porter's a good fighter. I'm sure he'll rebound just fine. Nothing wrong with losing to Brook considering the style and size match up.

    Awareness for what? The punch you don't see coming?

    The only awareness a fighter needs to practice is distance and positioning. Everything else comes into play from that point. Regular pad work helps that as well as muscle memory.
