At lightweight and such he rehydrated to the upper 140s, water weight. At 144 he rehydrated to 148-151, LESS water weight, more muscle mass. The rehydration is water weight. If he's rehydrating less, that means he has more muscle mass. Make sense?

    Weight in: 135
    Fight night: 148
    Water weight :13 lbs

    Weigh in: 144
    Fight night: 151
    Water weight: 7 lbs

    144-135=9 lbs muscle/fat

He rehydrated less at 147 because he has less water weight and more muscle mass.

Pacquiao looks leaner and more cut in the lower classes. Marquez looks leaner in the 2012 pic. Marquez doesn't look "bigger", he looks more ripped. You could get more muscle using more weights.

Most all fighters who started at lower weight classes then moved up look leaner, more cut and overall smaller. Manny, Floyd, Nard ect.....Marquez took time to fill out to the Jr. WW and Welterweight divisions. He moved up for an opportunity and the body takes time to acclimate. He's more cut now because he's not a blown up welter weight.....he's a full fledged welterweight.

The memo team: marquez and mayweather.
If I were mayweather fans I'd stay away from these topics.

Marquez is afraid of Pac, he knows he landed a very luckly punch and was on his way to getting knocked out. Marquez will never get into a ring with Pac again, he knows better...............

Nope, it was back and forth from the get go. The only time in the 4 fights this happened and simply because Marquez beforehand had decided to go to WAR!

At Marquez' game its common knowleadge Pacquiao is schooled.
At Pacquiao's game, Marquez KPTFO!!!! :deal

Before their fourth fight, both Pac and Marquez agreed this would be the final chapter in their rivalry once and for all. Pac went so far as to say he wouldn't fight Marquez a fifth time even the fight ended in a controversial decision. So if Pac was willing to walk away with a gift decision, there's obviously no way he would have faced him again after a scoring a ko. Obviously Pacquiao's fans are devastated by the fact that Mexicutioner was himself Mexicutioned, but if you live by the sword, you die by the sword.

Its still one of the best fights in boxing, and the biggest money for either guy, plus Marquez goes for that 5th title vs fellow midget he's got all figured out. What's not to like?

If the circumstances were reversed exactly, then I think yes he would. If he was down officially in the rivalry 1-2-1, he has a competitive nature.
Now if those rules were reversed with Jmm getting two official back to back wins in 2 and 3, would he have ever given Pac the 4th. And I think we all know the answer is Jmm would have probably walked after the first win, but definitely after the 2nd.

As a competitor, Jmm owed Pac the same shot at redemption he was given 3 times.
