Taylor has already said no to a fight with Golovkin, he is afraid of getting killed in the ring. Golovkin is the real middleweight champion, but all the others refused to fight him, Cotto, Taylor, Soliman, Quillin, they are all cowards and always will be.............................GOLOVKIN IS THE REAL CHAMPION!!!

Whoever it is he should be encouraged to cash out because a decent MW will have his measure...... Did Soliman not have a rematch clause?

    Most likely Quillin or Jacobs.

NDNJ is his mando of course, but I expect that to be pushed aside for the time being unless the IBF really decide to force the issue.

I was expecting a Quillin - Jacobs fight to have been announced already, but perhaps the WBA mando status is problematic (ie the winner would be entitled a shot at Golovkin, but I'm not sure they want to look bad by turning it down) - maybe Haymon was awaiting the result of last nights' fight before deciding how to proceed.

N'Dam schools him... I think N'Dam would beat Quillin in a rematch as well. When he wasn't getting knocked down he was outboxing Qullin... That was truly one of the strangest fights I've seen in recent years.

Probably N'Dam or Jacobs, which are basically toss-up fights at this stage of Taylor's career. Taylor pretty much won this one due to the injury and didn't look good, Haymon isn't going to match him up with anyone "good" on defense 1.

The whole thing makes me sick. He is probably the least worthy title holder in recent memory.

Indeed. The judges were actually incredibly generous towards Quillin in giving several of the non KD rounds. It was virtually a shut out had it not been for KDs.

Also it turns out that N'Dam had been advised by his manger not to fight Quillin at all - complications from oral surgery had led to him not having a full camp, apparently, but it would have meant having to drop his belt, so he went ahead anyway.

In a rematch I'd be confident of him beating Quillin, I also think he beats most other top 10 MWs as well FWIW and I'd have to have him heavy favourite against 2014/5 Jermaine Taylor.

While he wasnt getting knocked down....

Isnt that sort of a big thing though. its not some minor factoid that we can just overlook!

Quillin was bouncing him off the canvas like a basketball!

If he can get away with it mora why would Taylor take a hard when he can get the easiest defence available
