You people seem to forget in your bitterness about Lewis beating Vits that he had already been contemplating retirement and wanted either Vittles or Jones in one last fight. He said these words during his more than a year layoff from the ring before peeling Vitty Vitty bang bangs face off when they did meet....when he was relaxed, not when he was being pressured and hounded. Not when he was coming off the adrenaline rush of TKO6.

If you look at the facts objectively, there is not much controversy:

- Vitali's cut was caused by a legal punch.
- The fight was relatively even at the time of the stoppage
- Both men were exhausted

So, it is a fair win for Lewis.

 

On planet earth you're correct.

But in Klitschko land it goes something like this......

-Vitaly was cut by: A- Lennox's razor dreads
B- loose tape from LL's glove
C- an illegal thumb

-Vits was dominating the fight. Its not fair they stopped a fight he was winning.
-Vits was about to get his second wind. Lennox plopped down after the 6th.

Then in your world Vitali isn't a grown man as he promised to win his WBO title back from Byrd and never did it -he left that to his brother, he promised to fight Rahman in 2004/5 and retired instead, he promised to fight the winner of Haye/Chisora then said he wouldn't do it because they fought each other, and he promised to fight Stiverne in 2014 but dropped the WBC Title walked away into politics instead.
