How about quitting in life when your losing? I guarantee you'd have quit the day they put you in that cell for 6 years.

Thats the last place you'd ever think of quitting, because if you have any grey matter between your ears you'll soon realise the prison authorities don't give a **** if you survive or die.

With respect I much prefer to trust my own eyes than your opinion, and what I saw was a guy who simply quit fighting when losing, and / or confused, and THAT shows a lack of heart and mental fortitude.

He quit when he fouled purposely to save getting a hammering again against Holyfield.

You will never get the numpty fool to accept reality.

Try asking it what round its hero dropped Douglas if you want a laugh. It claims the 9th, bit of a shame when the rest of the planet knows it was the 8th.

    Hehehehe.

I rate evander higher on the atg great list. But prime for prime is very tough id prob go tyson. I think the tyson of 86-87 would have kod evander. Tho evander did beat tyson twice i dont think that was the tyson of old he wasnt the same fighter.

Holyfield all the way 2x on Sunday, easy vote for me, he beat Tyson to a pulp the first time they fought, and made him quit the 2nd time, he was just to big and strong for Tyson, and was miles ahead mentally, he also beat better fighters, and not only was he mentally and physically superior, but not the fvckup Tyson was outside the ring either...

If these guys got in the ring tomorrow and fought Holy would still beat his ass simply because he had superior genetics, and he was so much more mentally stronger...

Tyson was so overwhelmed when these 2 fought it was almost comical...

    Good accurate post.

The only thing I would add is it was sickening to see him cry like a baby to the ref about Holy's use of the head when here is a guy who has used every foul in the book and then some himself.

Douglas hammered him with vicious shots for 8 rounds almost had him out of there when Tyson nailed him with that uppercut and came virtually within seconds of rescuing his title on the brink of defeat! Had Meyran ended the fight there which another referee might have done at the time that punch would have gone down like Marcianos 13th round knockout over Walcott! They come out for the ninth and Tysons getting hammered again all the while he's throwing big shots, he never stopped coming forward. Start of the tenth round Tyson nails Douglas with a right hand to start the round and gets battered again, Tyson didn't quit he fought to the end look at that final combination, at his peak he only lost once and at his peak you had to kill this guy to get him out of there.

Tyson ruled, dominated and controlled the division for 3 years.

    Did Holyfield ever do this?
