1 - Floyd is the same size/bigger than pacquiao - FMJ looks best against guys his size

2 - Floyd will be able to keep pac honest with his Jab - I'm not convinced Pac is good at evading a good jab. Floyd's jab is above average

3 - Pac won't be able to bully Floyd - Floyd never has good fights with guys who can push him back. Won't be able to push floyd back without taking something in exchange

4 - Pac won't be able to T/KO Floyd - He hasn't put someone out since hatton. He has big time speed and power but not enough IMO to get floyd out.

5 - Floyd will be able to run from pac - At the end of the day floyd will just dance around most of the night. I don't think there's much of an answer for that with how pac fights....

Mayweather. I'll just go with three reasons.

1- Pacquiao has a limited tool set, and is pretty predictable in his offensive patterns. I think Mayweather has more depth to his game and much more adaptability. Stuff like that double-jab left hand combination that Pacquiao throws a hundred times per fight will get figured out and rendered inefficient very rapidly. Pacquiao will be forced to adapt, which he most likely won't be able to do against a superior technician like Mayweather.

2- Manny Pacquiao has a history of struggling against counter-punchers. I don't see how this would be any different if he were to face the very best counter-puncher in the sport.

3- Pacquiao has a tendency to miss punches while put himself off-balance and open for counters against fighters who can move from side to side quickly and efficiently. Mayweather's footwork has allowed him to sometimes even get behind an opponent (Marquez, Guerrero, etc.) while maintaining balance. Said footwork, combined with Mayweather's defensive skills, would befuddle and frustrate Pacquiao all night long, in my opinion.

Just look no further than freddies inability to adapt against counterpunchers, right handers, uppercuts, bodypunches!! note, pac has a habit off avoiding guys who are multifaceted!!

2. poor defense
3. missed 1,000 off 1,261 punches v stationary clottey!
4. body punch weakness
5. cannot adapt to guys who do not stand still
6. poor balance, just see the juan ko!

I know. I'll be called a ***** for picking Mayweather, and I would've been called a ******* if I picked Pacquiao. This board is saturated with twelvies and casuals, and 90% of the posters argue like children. The one way I found of participating in this forum agreeably is by loading my block list with 60+ names and remembering the user names of the few knowledgeable and unbiased posters in here, such as Nonito, AlexMC, IB, etc. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

He sure is great, that's a given. We won't agree with one another, I'll still believe Mayweather would win and you'll still believe Pacquiao would, but we can agree that only biased f*ckwits cannot see that Manny is a terrific ATG boxer.

Yet most still picked him to win it, all the way back in 2009 up to today, which makes this even more frustrating.

 

1. Mayweather is a far better boxer than Pacquiao.
2. Pacquiao doesn't know how to move his head and is a sucker for the straight right hand.
3. If they were to fight, Pacquiao would have to undergo random drug testing which would "disadvantage him" according to Pacquiao himself.
4. Pacquiao has no jab.
5. Pacquiao doesn't have the size to push Mayweather to the ropes and keep him there, so he'll be forced to spend most of the fight getting picked apart in the center of the ring.

even if everyone says you would win and you deep inside now you can't it is a big problem

bottom line mayweather has never faced anyone as fast and with more power and more talented then manny NEVER!
