Ofc he does. Tyson's power has always been overrated because of the way he trashed abysmal bums. i'd say Lennox, Wlad, Vitali, Foreman and others, they all hit harder than Tyson not saying he wasn't a hard puncher, though
LOL! Why does he take forever to get people out of there then? Wlad has that power where he is probably shaving years off your life AND causing you future damage. Mike just flat-out put you to sleep with his fists.
Anyone who thinks it's not Tyson didn't follow his career when he was coming up, like I did. Tyson was a monster. When he was at his best, he didn't just stop guys like Wlad does - he DESTROYED them.
a lot of people can look spectacular fighting the Frazier jrs of the world knocking out the corpse of Larry Holmes or scaredy cat lhw spinks dont impress me too much either what happened everytime Mike stepped up the competition? he struggled or flat out lost
Who has Wlad looked spectacular against???? ROFLMAO Heck look at the tomato cans he fought too. He prances around like a pregnant fairy then grabs & holds like an octopus LOL Watching paint dry is more exciting:hi:
Wlad has a different style because he's too big and tall, not a midget like Mike, he ain't as fast as Mike either Wlad can't throw the whole kitchen sink at his opponents from round 1 like Mike used to do, because he'd get exhausted in a jiffy but if he did, he still could take a lot of Tyson-level bums out in similar way, though
You may think that Spinks and Holmes were nothing, but that was not the case when Tyson fought them. In fact, a lot of people were picking the comebacking Holmes to beat the relatively unproven Tyson. I won $50 bucks from a buddy of mine who was SURE Holmes would beat Tyson. And going into the Spinks fight, while Michael was certainly the underdog, people expected him to give Tyson a good fight. Tyson was just that powerful. You didn't see him losing to the Ross Purritys of the world. It took top level guys like Douglas and Holyfield to beat him before he was washed up.
Because of his fighting style ******.. He doesn't put everything into his shots, and he systematically picks his opponents apart before stopping them. Have you seen what happens when Wlad puts everything into his shots?
A quantifiable observation would suggest that Wlad is the harder puncher if you compare their KO% vs heavyweights(200+). Wlad is also one of the best in history at knocking out fighters who have never been knocked down or out before. My own qualitative observation from watching their fights would be that Wlad has the superior 1 punch KO power. Tyson was more of a combination leading to a TKO kind of finisher.
Both in their prime & Mike would storm through Wlad blasting him to oblivion. Crowd would be yelling TIMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
