How would you match Anthony Joshua?

Wach would be a decent test as would Johnson obviously. I can't think of a recent Wlad opponent bar Haye that Joshua doesn't beat at the moment.

 

Malik Scott is a no-win fight for Joshua. I'm utterly convinced he took a dive for Deontay so he'd have to stop him in two or the doubters will come out making stupid comments.

I see him beating Price, Browne etc with ease. Matching him is going to be really difficult.

 

Someone like Chisora could be diffcult this early for AJ im not great fan of Del Boy but we havent seen anyone push AJ back yet and that's exactly what Chisora would aim to do.

Malik Scott is a good shout or Kevin Johnson - at least he would try and spoil a bit.
What about someone Like Kali Meehan after that? Can still go a bit and knows his way around the ring. Then Chisora and then maybe a real tuff test some like Oquendo OK 41 but can punch and is a big lump

in faireness in AJ fights him in his next 10 fights hes well ahead of Wilder it took him about 30+ to fight Scott so no problems with it..

Sam ***ton would be a good test short term then look at your Prices and then the looser of Chisora vs Fury. Is there a decent French heavyweight I remember watching or is a cruiser ill have to look him up

 

No need to rush him, but the way he is literally blowing people away you don't want him to go stale either.

After Sprott, we need to see him push on & jump in with more durable types as well as those who will aim to put it on him.

Joseph Parker? Joshua needs to fight a young hungry lion

 

Ustinov might be interesting,though limited, he is big,some of the fighters mentioned and Joshuas previous opponents are either blown up cruisers or small HW .I cant see Ustinov causing much problems but this is the era of the super big super heavy champions Ustinov would be interesting experience

 

Wouldn't put him in just yet with the likes of Ustinov, but if he continues to impress at the rate he current is then I don't see why he couldn't be put in with him at the end of next year.

I'd rather see how he handles a big man such as Wach, then put him in with Ustinov should he come through Wach with flying colours.

A Thompson fight at some point down the line is a must though, then we'll really be able to gauge just where AJ is at because he certainly will give us an idea.

As previously said though, no rush... he's young and still only in his first year. He needs to be handled properly... not moved to soon nor to slow.

 

Lucas Browne would be nice.

A big man who is beatable but has the strength and power to pose questions of Joshua.

I'd go..

Sprott, Zavorotnyi (took Price 10 rounds recently, so he must have an half decent chin), Kevin Johnson next 3

Then look at the likes of Charr, Wawrzyk, Ustinov & Malik Scott - decent level but none of these would really trouble someone who's the real deal (in my opinion) - hence why I think they'd be good fights for Joshua soon, to see if he is just that.

Then hit the Price, Chisora, Fury group for both experence & a pay-day.

If he gets through that lot, I'd be happy throw him in with anyone afterwards
