I remember watching this fight live and I was unable to tell if the punch landed watching live but by his reaction I thought it had. Then after the second kd where Seldon did the jelly leg I was convinced he's scared and wanted out. I never felt he was hurt that bad then when I viewed the replays and the first punch missed I initially believed I had witnessed an out and out dive. Today I think he was scared and basically quit. Either way it was sad performance for Seldon. One he never lived down. Shame too he had good jab.

It's not like Tyson was the only guy Seldon did this against.

Remember the Bowe fight where Seldon laid motionless after the first landed punch, pretending to be knocked out, and than jumped up at 8 and easily went back down. So bizzarre.

The McCall knockout also came without any landed punches, Seldon just started falling over.

Hey, remember that thread where people were trying to build McCall up because of his great knockout win over Seldon?

I remember watching Tucker vs Seldon on youtube and the first comment said 'Wow, A Bruce Seldon fight that actually lasts longer than one round!'

Seldon is a ****ing *****. And yes i would say it to his face (if we got into a confrontation).

Some fighters have glass jaws, Seldons is one level below that. His jaw is so bad the mere wind of fighters punches can put him into critical mode.

I remember that thread vividly, cant remember who it was but someone was justifying that Mcall would beat prime Foreman because he beat Bruce Seldon.

As i said on a previous thread, from now on Seldon should not be allowed to win ANY fantasy H2H matches on this forum, even fights he won in real life.

That's right. McCall pulling an Ali, taking Big George's best and coming back late to stop Foreman. McCall couldn't even Rope A Dope Bruno.

Being that his best wins were over complete wash ups and Joe Hipp, there are very few he should be favored over to begin with.

Shame you've gone all quiet after busting your bull**** about Tyson wanting Foreman, typical of someone who's been owned.

Joe Hipp was **** anyway. C level fighter who look liked the Conan guy from the Tango and Cash movie.

Seldon DID stop Tucker for the WBA title. And the only reason that was vacanct was because a certain Mr Foreman didnt want to fight Tucker.

Come to think of it, had Foreman fought Tucker for the WBA title, Seldon would have never got a shot. Tyson would have fought Foreman or Tucker and both of those fights would have lasted longer than a round. That means 2Pac might not have got shot and would be with us today!

Yes, the user was trying to prove that Mccall had great heart because he came from behind to beat Seldon.

My thoughts on that is, if your behind Seldon, you're ****.

In a fantasy H2H fight, Joe Hipp would beat Seldon, thats how **** Seldon is.

The whole match was a fix to begin with.. First of all, Neither Bruce Seldon nor Tony Tucker should have been in a position to fight over a vacant title in 1995. Tucker hadn't beaten anyone noteworthy in years and was washed up. Seldon had lost convincingly to Bowe, McCall and Tubbs, and likewise hadn't beaten anyone. The fight was set up to produce a lamb for the slaughter for Tyson..
