David been sparring Paul Smith for his world title bout, he fights 4th Oct in Leeds then tops the bill on Alex Morrison show on the 17th Oct in Glasgow

 

How much rounds in Leeds? Also where is the show in Glasgow? Will he get a title fight on that one?

 

Think it's six in Leeds not sure of the Glasgow fight

 

Proper Gentleman of a guy who lives the life , trains hard and in the couple of years ive knew and trained alongside him hes came on leaps and bounds , put it this way if the smith brothers are inviting him back time after time and tweeting that hes good work and Groves is asking you to spar he must be doing something right

 

Anyone have a link to the k.o? what do you think edwards plans for him are now? A would like to see big simmo and him out in scotland again a think they could do a good show in edinburgh if they tried, a reckon it would sell

 

It will be on ringside catch up if you have sky mate , Eddie wont have any plans for him or simmo as he isnt there manager there future plans lye in the hands of big alex morrisson and it depends if he ca get them on any eddies shows

 

Groves was mentioned thats all i know mate i think it clashed with his sparring with Callum Smith as he was ment to go to germany that week with them

 

no that's not the case Steve, sparring is very much an option with both CEJ and George in the near future

 

But surely it would be in the best interests of Stevie Simmons and David Brophy to be fighting in shows in either Edinburgh or Glasgow to get them the fanbase to start headlining shows by themselves? Alex shouldn't be waiting for Eddie Hearn to get these boys fights but taking a chance on running shows for them to gain experience and also keep them sharp!!

 

a show with Steve and David in Edinburgh with a few good under cards would easy do 1,200-1,500
