Both Bowe and Tyson wanted to fight Foreman

    Agreed. The timing was all off. Tyson losing to Douglas and then dealing with the **** conviction killed a 90-92 Tyson-Foreman fight. A fight could have been made in 95 or 96 when Foreman had the lineal title and Tyson had belts, but by that point George wasn't fighting anyone he thought was dangerous.

    George did say several times that he wanted to fight Tyson. I don't recall him ever saying he wanted to fight Lewis or Bowe; rather "I don't want to tangle with these big young guys" or something similar. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.)

    Yeah and the ****** Asser posts clips of Tyson saying he'll fight Foreman, I suppose we should take that as gospel???

    I'll say it again so you're ******ed brain can register it, Holyfield was NEVER hurt by Tyson. He was merely surprised and quickly regrouped, he was never stunned or hurt.

    Now go have a wankfest over your idol. :good

    IronChamp & Kalasinn were good posters with good insights, but Lefthook man that guy was something else, he had some seriously good stories regarding Tyson post-prison, even went to the same gym & caught a few sparring sessions if i remember correctly...

    Miss those guys since the forum change

    Ok Asser you basically wrote bull**** stating Foreman turned down a fight with Tyson. This video says otherwise, Bob Arum says Foreman wanted to fight Tyson since the 80's, this clip is in the mid 90's so why does Don King say sweet **** all??? Me thinks you are talking **** as per usual.

    Maybe not smoke and mirrors, but Foreman wasn't elite during his comeback either. He was a good heavyweight with power. And he definitely wouldn't have beaten Tyson.

    I've never bet on Tyson if I'm being honest, I think the one and only time I've ever bet on boxing is Froch vs Groves 1 and that ****ing ref cost me!
