Al Haymon is truly screwing his fighters out of big paydays.

They need to all wake up and smell the coffee. Mayweather would have been making big paydays with or without Al Haymon.

The bit of the article that is really shocking though is just how badly Richard Scheffer screwed over Oscar and Goldenboy Promotions...what a complete scumbag he turned out to be.

No worries, he didn't totally screw Golden Boy, let's be honest here.

Schaefer has non-compete clause meaning he is unable to promote, so what does that mean? Guerrero and Wilder are going to seat idle?

Golden Boy and Top Rank are the biggest promotional outfits.

So think about it? Who are they going to? Are they going to promote themselves?

Robert Guerrero is far from a draw...

    Wilder? Who had he beat?....

We see how this plays out, but I can't see Golden Boy losing out on this one.

Not one word in that story says anything about Hayman pulling Wilder out of the fight.

Kommie -- the article says Schaefer leaving GBP gave Wilder an option to opt out of being promoted exclusively by Golden Boy, it did not say that he is thus promoted now by Schaefer. It makes him a free agent as far as being able to fight for any promoter.

Chances are roc will be involved if a fight happens. I'm inclined to think we end up seeing Stiverne-Jennings in spring 2015 on HBO. Wilder will probably go for one of the lesser WBA belts.

For all that are wondering. Roc nation will probably play a roll in this fight whether it happens or not. Al Haymon not wanting them involved does not mean they care about haymon's feelings.

For what it's worth I favor Wilder slightly over Chagaev. Let the buildup for the wonderful matchup begin lol

if Haymon and King are able to work out a deal before the purse bid, then how would Roc Nation be involved?

Haymon probably realizes how bad Deontay sucks and will try and milk him against bums for as long as he can.

Haymon is the worst thing to happen to the sport since Don King came on the scene

Pulling him out of the fight because he wants to guarantee more money for him is "ruining Wilder's career and the Sport as a whole"?. How pathetic can you losers be?
