No analysis needed. The GMan is too G for GGG

Advantage to Gman in reach and speed.
Advantage to GGG in defense and chin.
    Power seems equal.

At their best, it's a good matchup.

Right now, Clellan might get sanctionned in Nevada, but he might die on his way to the ring before any punch is thrown.

We're talking about a healthy McClellan before Benn fight who ate Jackson's punches for breakfast yet GGG is gonna ko him..

GGG wouldn't even be the hardest puncher he's ever fought

Golovkin would probably make it into the 2nd half of the fight in wich McC is very beatable. Then he would beat the dog**** outta him.

The people voting Golovkin clearly don't have a clue. He's fought nobody near the level of G Man. His consensus best win is Gaele, and that guy is a complete ****ing homo. Stevens? That bum wouldn't last one round against Mclellan. :deal

If you know McC then you also know he had a glaring weakness, wich was that he didn't carry his power late. He also wasn't the best boxer

G man was a 6 round fighter , it all depends on if GGG can handle the heat early.

I dont think he can, but who knows....

Based upon what we have seen so far it's hard not to pick The GMan over triple G. McClellan has faced better opposition, hits even harder, and has significant advantages in height, reach and weight.

But GMan does get over rated. While he was tall, rangy, moved well and had a good jab, he was actually pretty easy to hit just like Golovkin. But just like Golovkin he has a very good chin taking bombs from Benn and Jackson.

I wouldn't rule out Golovkin, he would definitely be able to get to McClellan, it would come down to who can withstand their opponents power, it would be a real war. But based upon the level of opposition that both have faced McClellan has to be favourite, at least for now.

    Nope.

    He certainly doesn't hit harder.
But he can deliver this power faster and from a longer distance.

He doesn't have GGG's chin ( GGG never down once in amateur or pros) and certainly not his defense, as GGG willingly adapts and takes risks according to the oponnent.

And, by the way, Jackson hurt Gerald in their first fight, and Benn , well...

I got GGG. He is just too skillful with no major weaknesses. Thing that I don´t understand is all this critics concerning GGG defence. He is getting hit sometimes but statistics says he is one of the best defensive fighters in the sport at the moment. Man has very good defence, boys know better (Macklin, Proksa).

Golovkin's chin is nowhere near as tested as McClellans. Amateur boxing has head guards and bigger gloves to lessen the impact of blows and as a pro Golovkin hasn't faced anyone who hit half as hard as Benn or Jackson.

Yes McClellan was hurt by Jackson and Benn but as I said before they are punchers on a much higher level than anything GGG has taken and Gman took them well despite being weight drained. We'll see how good Golovkins chin really is once someone who can hit has the balls to actually step in the ring with him.
