Boxnations Deontay Wilder hype

    Why does Bunce and co. take every opportunity to blow smoke up Deontays arse?

    Barry Jones, Colin Hart, and Bunce all picked Wilder to beat Stivern because "he can't lay on the ropes against Wilder like he did against Arreola" as if Wilder is some sort of killer (although he did beat Audley in a round, maybe there is something to that)

    In fact they spoke as if it was some sort of fore-gone conclusion, they didn't even seem to entertain the idea of Stivern winning, despite Stiverne clearly being the far better fighter

    I'd say Arreola hits harder than Wilder (I certainly couldn't imagine Charlie Zelenoff still standing after a few haymakers from big Chris) and is far better technically

    I was surprised to see Colin Hart picking him because Hart is usually a cynical old ******* who doesn't fall for people with obviously padded records

    why do you think they love the big hypejob so much?

    Wilder is like a Chisora with length.

    Power puncher but he's gonna get Priced.


    Like his 2 KDs and quarter final at the Olympics.

    hmm not sure Arreloa hits hard than Wilder... Wilders speed is a huge asset for someone who hits as hard as he does.

    Stivern defiantly cant try and fight solely off the back foot v Wilder if he sits on the ropes he's gunna get nailed. I suppose there is a chance he could try and do an Ali and take Wilder into deep waters but I just donr think hes all that good. He wasn't really convincing doing it vs Chris but he found the bingo punch and was able to finish things. I would imagine Wilder will be a heavy favourite come fight night and it will come down to how tuff Bermaine is

    Wilder has never thrown a punch as fast as the one Stiverne KO'd Arreola with and he certainly doesn't have a jab as fast, so the speed advantage is Stivernes not Wilders.

    Stiverne was barely in trouble against Arreola and was just taking his time yet people act like the punch he threw was some sort of get out of jail free card as if he was in trouble, he was never losing that fight

    Wilder a heavy favourite despite the fact Stiverne just destroyed Arreola and Wilder beat Jason Gavern by Gavern gassing? Wilder looked like **** as well, Wilder has done absolutely nothing even close to warrant coming in against Bermane Stiverne as a "heavy favourite"

    Stiverne is an interesting one.. good amateur pedigree.

    Beat the guys the number ones were beating at the time.. so he definitely got the skills.

    I see we have a new Fast Boxer lol

    and the reason I believe they are hyping wilder so much is because they believe he will beat Stiverne.

    The winner of Fury v Chisora will more then likely fight the winner of the Stiverne v Wilder fight next summer.

    I'm not saying I don't rate Wilder.. I just think there's more than meets the eye with Bermane.
