    So,

    SRL 2nd at WW
    Duran 3rd at LW
    Hagler 5th at MW
    Hearns 10th at WW

    Something like that.

I think the thread title should read "who was the least good." To say worst about such an elite group sounds...wrong.

    I agree,

And frankly its difficult to even rate one over the other given that their resumes have such drastically differing strengths.

I fail to see any comparison between Tommy destroying Cuevas in 2 rounds, and a fight which stank the place out ( unless you happened to be a Leonard fanboy ) between 2 guys, one of which didn't want to get involved, and the other who wasn't well enough prepared to force him to.

Pound for pound, Hearns. If he had the chin of any if the others he might well be the best.

Pound for pound, I rate Duran highest, although in terms of what they accomplished against each other, he's probably the worst.

H2H, Hearns at welter might be the best.

Interesting enough I'd say Duran had the best win (against SRL) and the worst loss (Hearns). But had he beaten Hagler..his p4p ranking might well have been in the top 3.

Duran ruled a division for 6 years before even entering this group. He provided coat tails for their accomplishments. And he beat the best of the other three on the way out of his own prime.

I cannot agree that Hearns is a top 10 welterweight, unless you highly emphasise H2H ability.

Palomino was the lineal champ. Beat better opponents in title defences too.

Bang on :good hagler who is my favourite of the 4 is the number one middle
Hearns and Leonard are in my top 5 @ 147 and 154
Duran is the greatest lightweight and a top 3 light welter.
The latter 3 won title after title so there isn't a worst

Duran never really fought at light welter.
