Too many unsavory groups of violent folks who lash out for whatever reason suits them are the real problem. People talk out of their ass and say it's just guns. Where I live people get shot at, more people get stabbed, beheaded or beaten to death. Don't need a gun for that. In any case, much luck and goodwill to Augustus

Yes, and guns allow people to be braver and take more risk. Most people with a gun believe that with a simple trigger they can finish the crime and get away.

Knives are not as simple, you have to win the struggle against someone, leave fingerprints on the victim, etc. It doesn't give the same confidence a gun does.
