800k buys at $80 a go is $64mil, half goes to Floyd, that leaves $32 mil for his opponent, undercards, promotion and profit. Since his fights sell a lot more than 800k,basic accounting suggests showtime are making good money out of this. They probably sub-licence the fight to foreign tv companies who'll have to pay showtime too.

Pac fans are really in denial about the little guys capabilities....Floyd may have lost a step but last I checked Pac hasn't had a KO in 5 years, Manny has been put to sleep KO6, still can't beat Marquez convincingly, has been outpointed by Bradley, and is now planning to move back to 140 where he is expected to perform "better"... None of that sounds like a fighter that is on his way to beating Mayweather. That doesn't even sound like a fighter that wants to fight Mayweather!

*****s are so bad they can`t accept that Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. REFUSES to fight Manny Pacquaio. Joy Jr. even threatened his father if he keeps talking about Pacquiao. Hell, even got rid of 50 cent because of Pacquiao. It can`t get any worst than that!

If you already fought a guy 4 times and KO'd him why fight again? Game set and match.

Last I checked Floyd fights true Welterweights and True Junior Middleweights in big fights with everything on the line, the guy thats fighting unproven, inexperienced junior welterweights in China is the one who you should be questioning.

And you have to factor in Sponsorship deals, ticket sales, food & drinks sales, merchandise sales (t-shirts, programs, etc).

All the big PPV's have numerous sponsors; Tecate, Corona, Budweiser, Grant, Everlast, etc. Those sponsors spend millions of dollars for advertising space on the ring, in the fight program, for the fight.

In terms of skills that is

No man has shown skills to that degree.

Never knocked down in 18 years in the game.
The greatest defensive fighter of all time.

Averaging over 50% hit rate in almost all of his fights
    Averaging 20% against himself.

No man will be like Floyd, none!

The Best Ever, Floyd Money Mayweather.

Makes me cry thinking that he has 2 fights left. It's almost over for this legend. :|:|:|

Maybe he can consider a 50-0 return, topping Marciano before he rides off into the sunset. Floyd really is The Best Ever.

Can Pacquiao fans please explain to me why you are not criticizing Pacquiao and his team for claiming Manny will move to 140? Pardon me Pac fans but isn't the welterweight division hot right now? Thurman, Brook, Maidana, Khan, Garcia, Marquez, Alexander, and that guy named Mayweather?

Is Manny seriously going to duck all these fighters to face low risk low reward junior welterweights? Hasn't Pac already fought enough Junior Welterweights in the past 3 years? Also what fighter in his late 30s moves down in weight? Boxing dont work like that, fighters move up in their later years not down.

Pac fans must admit that Manny is ducking the entire welterweight division, fight a real challenge or retire.
