You know anything is possible. I remember speaking to my grandpa a while back about this, and he said to me that back when Ali was fighting he had similiar negativity where people wanted him to lose. Then after he wasn't fighting anymore people began to truly appreciate his greatness. I could see the same happening with floyd.

He'll be considered differently by different people. I would consider him one of the best of all time, but not the best. Some people won't even consider him one of the best no matter how the rest of his career pans out.

Whether or not he can beat Marquez has nothing to do with it. He can't beat Mayweather... Not now and not when both were at their very best. :bart

Two completely different mentalities. Both are counter punchers but they dont have the same mindset. Mayweather is defense first, while marquez is offensive minded, marquez will trade most often than not and with combos.

The reason marquez has great success with pac is he is a great counter puncher but he never runs or cover up. He punches while pac is punching disrupting pac's rhythm.

Mayweather's first instinct is to shell up or move when the opponent is punching and wait for that perfect opportunity to counter and usually it's not a hard shot and not in combinations. Look at how comfortable he looks with an aggressive fighter like maidana. Against a fast and aggressive guy like pac that could be a problem for mayweather if he waits for that perfect shot because unlike chino pac is quick on his feet and has stamina for 15 rounds. Pac could leave floyd in a shell all night and I think entire mayweather clan knows this.

Triangle theories are for boxing noobs BTW.

Uh,no.Nice try -800k buys at $80 is 64 million BUT the cable companies that distribute the PPV gets half that off the top. That means Showtimes share is 32 million to pay Floyd and the undercard ,etc.

Fighting at this level for this long is very impressive...... That's why Floyd remaining undefeated for 18 years is what a lot of his greatness is based on. Manny being a p4p fighter this long isn't as big as being undefeated but it's an accomplishment in itself.

I've been on these forums for well over 15 years and this forum really sucks.

The ESB general forum over the last year is easily the worst boxing forum I've ever come across.

    R.I.P.

If the shoe was on the other foot, the *******s would all be loving SHO. Read posts back when Pac and Mosley fought. They loved SHO as much as they love sucking Manny's cawk. When Floyd got the monster deal at SHO they went into full hate mode. How sad is it to be a network fan boy?
