Floyd has/had the potential of having the better resumè but he has/is wasted it by avoiding the best challengers in years and you can't have a better resumè by having what-ifs and could-haves so YES, Pac has a waaaaaaay better resumè.

The only reasons he is fighting Algieri is he is TR, he also was in a good scrap and Bob thinks that will pull in viewers LOL and I expect because it is not in the US it would not do great numbers anyway so its an excuse for Bob. None of those have anything to do with Manny, he is just doing his job fighting another fighter. As for the Catch weight SO what its in Algieri's favour being the 140lbr.

I want all this **** to Stop too But its not all Pacs fault

Anybody who wants boxing to go backwards just because they don't like the fighter is a complete moron.

Pacquiao has given a lot to the boxing world as he attracted fans around the world.

He didn't need to talk smack or hype up his fights, people actually pay and watch his ppv fights because he is an exciting fighter.

He is the 2nd best ppv attraction in boxing, not bad for a little filipino who speaks broken English.

Mayweahther on the other hand talks smack, hypes up his fights and claims himself as TBE and that he only does "1 million ppv" but his ppv numbers are dropping.

It's possible, but I'd still favor Pac based on his recent performances. Shame he's fighting Algieri and not a more competitive fighter.

He shouldn't be fighting Algieri but it is what it is. Arum is wanting to continue marketing to the Chinese audience with Zou and wants Pacquiao on those cards as well, so they picked the fight that was easy to make(and likely an easy fight). It's going to do at least 400k despite the opponent, and probably do great business overseas.

Pacquiao gets the benefit of the doubt because(imo) he has proven himself against better competition than Floyd and he's fought a guy who has given him certifiable hell(and a brutal stoppage defeat) four times. He doesn't mind taking on challenges.
