Ike Ibeabuchi vs the K brothers

I wasnt " on his dick" as you foolishly say but I was there from the day he arrived in Dallas from Nigeria
I watched Curtis Cokes transform a crude brawler into a great boxer puncher. Ike would have retired the Kiltschko's

 

Most of his demons were due to a lying hooker & a corrupt justice system What happened with Ike was a travesty

 

Wlad would easy outbox him or even ko Ike, Vitali would stop him late.

 

Ike Ibeabuchi was not the finished article by the time his career was cut short. There was plenty of room for improvement, in terms of developing his Boxing ability, but he had shown a capacity to listen, learn and take small steps in the right direction. There's no reason to think he could not have gotten better, in not too great a period of time.

There is also no doubt that he had the physical toolset. At 6'2", Ike was what I call a naturally big man; a heavy-set frame without being overly packed with muscle, he had exceptional stamina and innate power.

Fights with the likes of Briggs, Grant, Golota, Rahman and Mercer were all quite winnable match-ups, at and soon after the turn of the century for him, before a potential bout with Wladimir and or Vitali in the early-teens. These would have been good fights and tests enough to show what he could do and or how he would improve.


At any time during 2000 to 2002, inclusive, Ike Ibeabuchi is likely to have been both the Klitschkos' toughest opponent, by some significant margin - and quite possibly, for Wlad, his toughest opponent ever (while Vitali would be overmatched by Lewis, a year beyond that period).


Curtis Cokes was bringing Ibeabuchi along nicely, tempering him in the ring. It's just a shame that outside of it, he had already strayed a step or so too far from the reservation. But for the direction his personal life took, Ike beating the Klitschkos during this timeframe, is not inconceivable.

 

Lol, you never saw the fight. When showed the replay after the stoppage even Byrd was like "Ohhhhh!!"

 

You guys are so desperately living in a fantasy world to find the great black/american hope to beat the Klits. Ike's best win was against Tua by u/d,ffs!
They would have both beaten the crap out of him.

Ike would have walked straight through Wlad He'd have smashed his glass jaw. Ike would have boxed Vitali worn him down & stopped him in 8 or 9

It is a typical Klitschkonette response to not being able to adequately articulate the relevant merits/weaknesses of their idols and, at the same time, to crap on any other Heavyweight that came before them, as their only recourse.
