It's too bad this match never materialized. There was alot of excitement for it at the time, especially if it would have been for the title. Tyson, was argueably the most physically gifted of the swarmer heavyweight champions. I just can't see this style fighter ever beating a George Foreman. Would have been great to watch and find out though.
I WANT MIKE TYSON, I WANT TO FIGHT TYSON, I WILL KO HIM IN 2 ROUNDS LIKE I DID TO FRAZIER! I didnt sign the contract because i was scared of Don King.
If you keep repeating the same old bull**** you might actually believe it. Can someone please ask Asser why he has no answer for my question that I've asked him repeatedly concerning the video clip of the Arum and King interview.
It's never been debunked once, sad little fanboys such as yourself and Asser can't bare to read the truth. :rofl
I thought Azzer was? Ok, so why would Ronnie Lott say what Cox or Benton heard him say? Ask Steve on his Facebook page and see what he says.
Seen it before 1 or two rounds it just all sounds ludicrous to me Tyson wouldn't have had any trouble here comon this was his time.
Tyson would have had plenty of troubles with Foreman, his style was meant for him. He wouldn't be facing a fighter that's going to back pedal from him, he would be facing someone who's going to back him up and man handle him.
Foreman did not have the right combination of strength and skill to back Tyson up, this fight would be fought at close range both guys stood right in front of each other now who would this benefit the most? Tyson by a country mile! Foreman doesn't get his punches off quickly enough; certainly not as quickly as Tyson, and he punches a lot wider than Tyson does, he's also a giant target and he doesn't move his head. This would have been an embarrassing night for Foreman.
Foreman would manoeuvre Tyson by his physical strength and unleash devastating hooks and uppercuts, his jab would be at play and soften him.
