Looking at the current Middleweight scene I believe only Martin Murray is capable of beating Golovkin
Martin has excellent hand speed and varity of punches and has bee unlucky in previous world title shots
Golovkin though does look very special and would be interesting if Froch would fight him if he moved up, Froch wants to fight the beat so why not seek a rematch with Ward or fight Golovkin?
    Now that's ppv!!!👊

I'm sorry Billy, but I really can't see him have much of a chance.
Murray would be a huge underdog (probably about 10 to 1) and rightly so. But there's no shame in that, because noone in the division has much of a chance against him.

    Murray is nothing special.

I think he's as basic as a fighter can get who is very strong which is something he wouldn't have over GGG. Plus Murray isn't a puncher and wouldn't be able to get Golovkins respect.

Golovkin would imo walk straight through Murray in under 6.

Froch is heading for retirement. We all know what he said about Golovkin and I haven't heard him talk about Ward recently.

Would be a great fight vs Golovkin but isn't going to happen unless Froch gets bored in retirement.

I hope Murray believes enough in himself to take the rumored Monaco fight, and we'll see how he does. :good

I like Murray but GGG would easily walk him down and stop him in about 4 rounds

excellent points big boy....the middleweight division is crammed with average fighters atm GGG simply has to move up and from what i have read is willing to fight Froch in UK:yep...like you say that is a well worthy PPV 2 world class boxers at top of their game fighting for titles.....unlike the PPV we have coming up next month:patsch

Murray did well against both Sturm and Martinez away from home for sure. Both fighters have and had seen better days.

GGG a class apart from those fighters.Murray does have durability, strength.Murray does not move well enough to be able to withstand what GGG has.Golovkin's power is lauded his subtle footwork gets every fighter on the back foot, against the ropes with nowhere to go.Murray would not hear the final bell imo.

Interesting with Ward getting to the point where he has become a real forgotten man because of legal issues. No doubt GGG if he moved up against Froch certainly worthy of PPV status!

The thing with Murray is he does all the basics very well but nothing he does is special.

Plus it's not like he's got exceptional speed or footwork to out hustle/box Golovkin or the firepower to hurt him. Plus he will be in with a fighter who is more physically stronger and powerful.

Murray missed the boat since his excellent performance against Martinez, gone back to treading water fights.

Murray is a world level fighter but gets stopped if he fights GGG imo

Golovkin is just too accurate I feel, he looks a monster in there and it's going to take someone very very special to stop him.

Murray would struggle with Macklin (but beat him eventually).

    Golovkin within 2-3.

no I think Martin is clearly UK's number one I'd have BJS number Two, then Matthew , then CEJ
