Is EXACTLY what this sport needs, and if he ends up being the PPV king (no doubt about it) then I have no problem shelling out money to see him fight.

    1) He wants to fight the best
    2) He knocks out everyone in front of him
    3) He is entertaining
    4) He walks his talk - No BS with him unlike Floyd
    5) Nobody wants to fight him

Just wait until those two pussies are gone, and GGG is king - It'll be amazing!

    That is a real fighter.

    Action? Guaranteed!
    Excitement? You betcha!
    Snooze-Fest? Nope!
Talks of fighting the best but avoiding them on purpose? LOL!
Picking fights that suit him stylistically? GTFO!

GGG is a proper fighter. None of this 'Talk to my promoter/I'm going on vacation/where was 'insert fighter here' in 1999/smile and just nod BS'.

The next few years with this guy dominating are going to be AWESOME!

I agree with the gist of your post.

Chants of "Triple G!" before the first bell showed he is really starting to get some momentum.

If he could keep to his 3-fights-per-year schedule for the next couple we could see him become the face of boxing.

Clean out and unify. Martin Murray is not a bad next opponent.

    Well put.

I'd love to see him face Murray, then he has more or less cleaned out the top contenders.

It'd be great to see him unify next year.

Here's the kicker: He won't even fight Amir.

It'll be Algeri (then FM will pull the old triangle-theory on everyone), Winner of Canelo/Cotto and then Brook or Garcia.

Murray is a decent fight for GGG in Monaco.

Korobov vs Lee (WBO) winner and Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam vs Jermain Taylor (IBF) winner would be good fights for GGG as well.

you mean he negotiates terms that everybody is happy with, gives the best fighters in the world a chance to fight for the pfp title, never complains even when they come in 20-30 lbs heavier than him on fight night, insists that gloves used in the sport don't have exposed knuckles and in general maintains a sense of fairness and sanity in a fked up an chaotic sport rife with corruption.

Forget a cotto rematch...floyd is not gonna fight him again. he has no need to nor any interest in repeating something he already did. floyd needs to be motivated. i think a fight with jermaine taylor would really pique his interest and get a lotta support from the fans.

    I just love GGG

He is just so lovable. So ****ing exciting, a great guy, amazing fighter!!!!

As fun as he is too watch in the ring, he is also so fun to watch post fight!!!

"I like fight." and "Rubio is not step back. He is fighter." (or whatever he said). Also called Canelo a good boy, with a smile, me thinks he knows the fans liked that saying, so he brought it back.

I remember one time (I think last out against Geale), he said fighters can call him to fight him …. I don’t think any are gonna be calling, as much respect as I have for Canelo and Cotto, I think they’ll fight each other than against GGG right away.

Not much to say about his performance. Against a decent, durable and tough middleweight …. just utterly dominated once he actually started to open up. He needs to fight the best, true, but those thinking GGG loses to any other middleweight, in my eyes, is simply sort of foolish (as much respect, and y’all know how much I do, for Canelo and Cotto). GGG is a beast. I’m not sure what else there is to say. And once he beats Canelo or Cotto (assuming it happens), people will still be criticizing GGG somehow.

I have to agree with this. No one's saying GGG will 'outbox' floyd, but he will definitely hurt him with any punch thrown with half power or more. Of course, this means floyd will just run for the rest of the fight, but it is what it is.
