When you watch box. You understand box. Removing resumes and looking solely at the physical prowess, dominance, unbeatable invincibility and sheer style; Leads me to believe GGG deserves a place as no.1 spot. Pound for pound he is the best. I dont care about longevity or weeks on p4p lists. I care about style and their mannerisms when looking for the victory. Sure Mayweather is no.1 but you cant make a case for Mayweather winning even if Golovkin was naturally a 147lb'er. This guy has too many credentials, too many stories about his gym work and sparring sessions, a vast amateur background which is one of the most impressive i have ever seen in the history of boxing. This guy is not over hyped he is under hyped. Get behind him. Whats not to like about this maverick? Bring the good boys back onto global scale
he is good but the quality of opponents are not the same at the lower weights. time and opposition will tell. wlad is dominating the heavies but there seems no legitimate chellengers. they are just waiting for a new young fighter to dispose old fighters.
i called walters stopping donaire weeks ago, it was only a decent win, donaire is past it and has no business at 126
Beating Rubio isn't enough. I am 100% sure that GGG is p4p quality, he just needs to beat the right oppenents.
Funny as it sounds, that is true. Walters' win over Donaire was sensational and way more significant than Golovkin's performance.
Been saying the same thin for a long time now. Floyd and Manny's resumes are a disgrace for so called p4p no 1s. GGG is beating up the best who'll share a ring with him, calling out the best, not ducking them, draining them, cheating on the scales or waiting til they're over the hill
