When the story quotes it is somebody's uncle ... this one is worse, a friend through a bouncer friend, through a prison friend's uncle

two more and you basically have the world covered as in six degrees of separation

When MMA arrived, people turned into total morons.thinking it would be easy to beat people like Mike Tyson.of course if your name is Cain Velasquez i consider it could be easy.however we don't have that many Cains in the universum.

Technicue works, but you need lot more than that.coordination, strenght, condition etc..

And most people are lights year behind 20years old Mike Tyson in those aspects.nevermind most of them have only practised and never been in real fight.takedown practise changes drastically when you go against 220lb Mike Tyson who wants to kill you.9/10 you **** your pants and freeze.

I know lots of fighters who are great in the practise room, but never archieve that greatness in real situation.because they can't handle the situation mentally.

And in street fight you need to have that psycho mentality, you can't fold under pressure.

Nope. I think these 'street fighting' experts are hilarious. We all know the likes of Tyson decimates these prison 'hard men'. World of difference between professional fighters and these guys.

I got arrested a few years ago (nowt bad) I was being wide to the piggies in my cell and this just out of uni looking officer tried to do some Jiu Jitsu **** on me to try and get me on the ground and impress his quite tidy female pig partner. I laughed and said "what the **** are you trying to do"
I'm only 5.8, 12 stone and have little martial arts experience. He was pathetic. He obviously knew some **** but didn't have the strength, technique, coordination or experience to pull it off. I just tensed up and laughed at him. A proper technically skilled, and aggressive martial art experienced cop would have tied me in knots in seconds.
When someone says "I do cage fighting" I feel like laughing caus most of them are **** noobs. The same can be said for people who brag about being boxers because they attend boxercise.
You also get folk who do kickboxercise who go about bragging they could do this or that if a fight broke out.
I knew a guy who started wearing high waist trousers like Van Dam because he done a bit kickboxing. His kickboxing experience didn't stop him getting beat up by a few teenage chavs who stole his chippy and bottle of Irn Brew  No heart. He shat it apparently. He froze, took it like a ***** for a few seconds then ran away.
I also know people who've done martial arts for years that you just don't mess with.

Yep, fighting is something that requires natural ability - speed, power, timing, spacial awareness, depth perception, coordination, quickness of mind to instinctively make correct decisions, durability, toughness, will, heart etc, some have it, most don't. I've seen the Duran documentary where his old trainer talks about how Duran was beating the **** out of experienced boxers withing the first week of being at the gym, the reason is the guy has more natural talent for fighting in his little finger than 99.9% of people out there. With a guy like Duran, same as Tyson (who was beating up full grown men at the age of 12), even if they never stepped foot in a gym they would still be able to beat the **** out the majority of people because the ability to fight above and beyond what is generally humanly possible is a natural talent they have been blessed with.

There is a big difference between training in fighting and actually being a capable fighter. Fighting is like anything else, golf, tennis, football etc, you can train all you want and sure, you can improve, but if you have no natural talent you will never be any good, and those who do have the natural talent will be able to (annoyingly) come along and immediately be better than you.

If there actually are any martial artists on here who could beat Tyson in a street fight then why the hell are you not fighting professionally at the top the level? Because that's how good you would have to be to beat a man like Tyson.

I know several people who I would be confident would beat him, people with vast knowledge of martial arts, lightning fast and deadly accurate.
People are claiming on here a straight leg kick to the knee wouldn't do any damage, watch the Danny Williams fight.tyson was buzzing him with every shot then he twists his knee and his punches are a lot less effective.in Thailand they do a lot of moves based on joint destruction, believe me it is effective and I've seen a few snapped legs in my time.

Spot on post. Only a pro martial artist could beat Tyson. A world class UFC fighter. Your average cage fighter with a job would get sparked in seconds.

Tyson and Duran are two of the most naturally talented fighters ever born. both were honed into two of the most technically skilled fighters ever seen on film. Both of them were sparking full grown men on the streets when they were kids but what Duran did was even more phenomenal due to his frame, even though Tyson learned boxing much later than Duran did.
Duran worked on the streets at night and lived in the gym during the day. He made money challenging American Navy men and Sailors to fights, not one fight did he lose. Even if these Sailors laughed and told him to beat it he would spark them and mug them. He beat up full grown military men when he was a kid. This is a guy who was sparring at 8 and fought as a skinny bantamweight when he turned pro at 16. Imagine the size of him when he was beating up these men on the streets as a kid. It's crazy.

    cool:good

i know what you mean. When i was training, some guys would turn up, do one session and never come back again, yet they would go around telling the average Joe on the street how many fights theyd won etc etc

Yes it could happen.why you don't answer this simple question:

How you are sure you would got the first strike?and you don't think Tyson could beat you lighting fast and deadly accuracy?

I'm not claiming it would be impossible to beat Tyson fast in street fight.i'm only arguing that you are living in somesort of dreamland where you are 100% sure you would get the first strike.and you don't have no backup plan whatsoever.

Is it that hard to think Tyson would got lucky and you would be lying in concrete dead shortly after?probably you will say next, you would take Tyson flush shot,or easily avoid it.

If you are so talented, why you didn't pick up boxing or MMA or whatever martial art and made millions of it.

Instead you are here bragging with your imaginary skill sets.

Even if you have the skills to kill tyson with one strike,it's still 50/50 game.Tyson is capable of doing that to you also.

You are sure trolling, and also how many times have you seen those fighting gods use their skill in actual fight?and how many times the opponent was world class fighter?sure there are couple of fighters who killed some random dude outside of the bar head full of alchohol.other than that, how proven are these methods, when you go against the most skilled standup fighters in this universum?

Krav Maga etc.. All sure are effective.however you only train those moves.almost never you had to use those skills in actual fight.and if it does happen.again i say,how many times your opponent is HW champion boxer?your opponent is probably gang of skinny metheads.

What sort of fanny goes around kicking people in the f*cking knee?

Tyson would bite your foot off

By the time you finished reading this Tyson would have punched you 15 times in the head and ripped out an eye.

I reapect these self defense artist, who could kill somebody with one strike, however i find it stupid that somebody thinks it's some magical skill and it's sure way to win a fights.and i repeat,if they happen to get in the fight.they rarely has lots of fighting experience,or using those moves in real fights.

It's easy to train, but way harder to do it in actual fight.especially if you haven't used those skills before.

You should stop watching all these Steven Seagal movies
