What are some of your thoughts on Golovkin's boxing skills?

For me he's a very superb operator based on what we've seen so far. He's in the same mold as guys like Joe Louis and Alexis Arguello. Calm but deadly. I don't think people give him enough credit when it comes to his boxing but he really is one of the most skilled fighters today IMO.

Skilled, decent chin, pretty fast. He seems to be a quite complete fighter. Will be interesting to see how he bounces back from his first loss to see what his heart is made of.

 what the hell are you smoking???

Alfred "GGG" Neuman punches slow as paint drying in the winter!

Rubio should shut the hell up and cash his check.

    Cotto will starch GGG !!!

Cotto ain't ****, he hasn't beaten anyone who wasn't a bum or a cripple since Joshua Clottey, ages ago

GGG would crush him like a bug if they ever fight

Cotto and Roach are aware of this, that's why GGG ¨cant sell¨ according to them

the cripple-killer will be lucky if he gets past Canelo, anyway

my grandma could have humilliated that version of Martinez Cotto fought

he deserves zero credit for beating a cripple who had no place in a ring and that anyone could have beaten

right now Cotto is a phony paper champ living on borrowed time

he'll lose his paper belt to the first decent mw he fights, nvm GGG who would send him home in a stretcher

Martinez took that fight so thats on him. Cotto deserves all the credit :deal

Martinez always was ridiculously overrated with horrible defense. The Cotto that night would have broken any version of martinez

I don't like GGG defense. Just backs off in straight lines. Doesn't even counter he just waits his turn.

    Doesn't counter?

GGG's a world-class counter puncher. It's why his pressure game can be so effective despite him spending so little energy implementing it.

Doesn't get hit cleanly nearly as much as some would like you to believe.

He doesn't have any all he has is big time power, and even then that's only because he's wearing doctored gloves. His defence is full of more holes than a colander and his hands move about as quickly as disabled tortoise trying to ascend a steep hill.
