You are wrong Sherlock. The only thing of interest remaining is whether you have the balls to admit it :think

    Fixed  :patsch

Why did he have the operation in USA and not Australia? there is no medical coverage in USA for an AUS resident. It would have been very costly.

Soliman claims he had badly hurt his right knee in his 2007 in his loss against Mundine when he was dropped in the 2nd round, claiming a torn knee ligament which severely limits knee movement, resulting in a person’s inability to pivot, turn, or twist their leg, however we see nothing that would suggest there was anything wrong with his knee in the Soliman vs Mundine II fight footage. :huh

Now 6 months after this fight Soliman has the following bouts..

September 18th 2007 vs May Alexander
October 30th 2007 vs Sakio Bika
November 6th 2007 vs Wayne Johnsen
May 28th 2008 vs Anthony Mundine

Now surgery to repair a badly torn knee ligament requires up to 1 year for recovery, and that's just to recover, to get the knee back to normal function, not to mention the time it would then take to get fight fit, yet 6 months after he claims to have had surgery on the knee he is back in the ring?

During the fight with Taylor, he would show signs of a knee injury, but then forget about it and would be running on the spot for the doctor, making movements that would suggest there was no damage to his knee, not to mention in the last round he comes out for the bell running on the spot again, which is when his knee should have been at its worst. He was also knocked down with a stiff jab prior to showing any signs of a knee injury.

Soliman also used the knee injury excuse for justification in invoking a rematch with Mundine for their 3rd fight and only made the claim about badly injuring his knee after he received criticism for invoking the rematch clause in the initial contract as he was dominated for the entire fight in their 2nd encounter and no one seen the point in having a 3rd fight. Hedge**** was even quoted as saying..

So basically, make up a fake injury and get a rematch/2nd pay day, no doubt the knee injury idea was not hatched until they realised they needed an excuse as to why they wanted the rematch, so they made up a BS injury. This time round they had learn from the first false flag injury and decided to also act the part and hobble around the ring, however soliman is as bad an actor as he is a boxer. Who in their right mind would claim a knee injury and act the way he did and then run on the spot twice showing no sign of injury? I guess soliman forgot consistency when he decided to play the fool.

The Soliman kid gave up his bogus world title trinket more easily than the Drews kid did. Basically he dogged it.

I too am glad you have admitted you got it wrong. Far too often people here seem to jump to knee-jerk reactions and write baseless dribble without anything of foundation to support it.

Agree with this TC, if the knee injury was legit like say Martinez knee against Cotto Soliman would never have been able to run on the spot for the Doc, it was obvious Soliman knew he was out gunned by a shot to **** Taylor and faked an injury instead of digging deep and trying to win the fight.

Now you and TC are medical doctors as well! Fark - with all the qualifications you two have it is amazing that you have the time or the interest to impart your wisdom to the ESB Aussie audience - all five of them. :patsch

Why hasn't there been any medical evidence produced publicly to confirm that Soliman was indeed injured?
