Floyd at 130 was in his prime. Floyd at 130 against big welterweights/middleweights especially as good as them 4 gets flattened. Floyd's prime is irrelevant to discussions against these 4, as Floyd at his prime was a SFW.

after re-assessing the ggg-rubio fight, I'm kinda hoping floyd fights him next at 154. I know jeff mayweather said floyd has no business fighting middleweights because floyd is really a small welter/jr welter, but a fight with ggg must be tempting.

now, the fight itself would play out kinda like the canelo or guerrero fights. that is to say, ggg has some of the same strengths and weaknesses of those guys. he's an aggressive guy who cpmes at you. he hits hard. he's got solid technical skills. on the downside, he's way easy to hit, he doesn't appear to have a great chin and he's slow....he's a plodder...the kind that floyd lights up and punishes...floyd would dominate ggg with movement, speed, the jab and counter-punching. ggg hasn't gone 7, 8 hard rounds lately...if floyd's hands hold up he could probably stop ggg late.

of course, the problem with floyd taking this fight is, the same as he ran into with cotto, maidana and canelo. from the momemt he signs the contract to the moment his hand is raised in victory, the same critics calling him out for being "scared" will now be calling mayweather a "cherry picker" for going after a "green" ggg...when it's pointed out that ggg has had many fights and is in his 30's they'll say ggg was still too inexperienced at a world class level and floyd beating hm is meaningless from a legacy perspective.

still, it would be great to see floyd do a number on this slow, overrated amateur and use him for target practice.

Well I think Flyod would outbox both GGG and Pac, thing is Floyd is irrational in not making these fights so we will never see it happen. Too bad, but the truth is he's a complete idiot.
