HBO needs to STOP with the false advertising, GGG is *not* the 160 champ

You guys do realize that a unification fight with the lineal champ is like an entire year away, if ever, right?

In the meantime, GGG's on the right track. He just needs to keep mowing down these contenders, building up a fanbase, and doing his part to build a PPV fight. Keep leveraging that mandatory spot, which is valuable here.

If he keeps that up, he'll be the 2nd biggest money man in the division behind the Canelo-Cotto winner.

 

IF Cotto does fight GGG, will it be at the actual weight of 160, or will Cotto try some BS Catch weight garbage to gain an advantage?

In my book, if Cotto does that I lose respect for him.

You give Golovkin to little credit. The kid can fight. Hes very good at cutting off the ring and picking the right shots to break his opponent down. Im certain hes the best fighter at 160, hes just not the champion in spite of his paper trinket and what his delerious nuthuggers would have you believe.

 

Titlist is just a fancy word for contender, thats it. And againt basically the same type of comp GGG has been more impressive. You know im not one of these clowns who calls it based on race, im just calling it as is see it, and howt he majority ofr rational fans see it.

 

Absolutely. Cotto is the champ. What i realize though is its just marketing on their part, and as a true fan of the sport i know the difference so i dont let it bother me.
