Yes but it still counts against you. If he had won he would have a much higher ATG ranking. And like I said before if we include loses when talking about greatness Zab Judah has a great resume and should be an ATG as well then.

Yet Oscar's own magazine, The Ring, ranked PBF higher in its Best Fighters Since WW II and PBF is 12th on the list Oscar wasn't even ranked.:deal You're a irrational hater who will never give PBF his due PBF > Oscar you know this but will never admit it, thus you have no credibility.

A legacy isnt based on one win, its based on your whole body of work

You know and I know that the ring lost all its credibility once GBP took over and secondly Floyd doesn't have one significant win that propels him in to the top 25 being undefeated won't get him there ! If that's the case Joe. Calzaghe would be ranked in that range with his win over Hopkins which is better than any 1 single win on Floyd's entire resume !

And again that was the same list that had Hopkins in the top 10 so yeah that's really credible  as are you

And rankings are based on wins not just body of work ! You think Ali was rated so high based on wins or the competition he faced ?

I say they pretty close, considering Oscar really did beat Tito and Shane in the rematch. Floyd's best performance was against a fighter similar to Tito in Chico, tho not as great. H2H a prime Oscar would of easily been Floyd's match. Too bad Floyd wasn't at 147 when Oscar, Mosley, Quartey, Lopez, Trinidad, or Forrest were around.

Ali was rated because of his wins over the opposition he faced.

De La Hoya is being rated highly purely due to opposition faced and he did lose a large amount of those fights and had close decisions too.

H2H at his prime, Oscar was amazing, but lets not get carried away and give him a ranking he does not deserve.

The point im trying to make is, one fight does not decided a fighters greatness, his whole career has to be taken into consideration and oscar with all due respect, lost a lot of fights.

Riddick Bowe and Wladmir Klitscko for example. Outside of the Holyfield wins, Bowe did **** all in the heavyweight division, Wladmir might not have that great win over a prime ATG fighter, but his long term domination over a mixture of mediocre, good and very good fighters should count.

Longevity is part of it. I love Joe but you can't compare his resume with PBF's. He has one truly great win Hopkins which is still better than any win Oscar has. Despite what your hating ass thinks PBF has a very good resume. PBF gets there by being the most complete fighter and the best of his era starting at 130 and moving up to 154 being linear in all of those divisions with the exception of 140 also holding the linear championship at both 154 and 147 at the same time. You're a hater so of course you will say it has no credibility. BTW this was a panel of writers some of which who don't even like PBF and he still ranked higher than Pac and Oscar.
Lastly what win over an ATG does Oscar have? A shot to **** Pea arguably beat him and Chavez was done as well he lost all of his big fights Mosley 2x Tito Hopkins PBF and Pac.:hi:

Oscar officially lost these fights he doesn't hold the wins. They were'nt some sort of robbery a robbery is Pea-JCC in that fight you can make a case for Pea beating JCC because it wasn't close and was a clinic the definition of a robbery.

You are clearly biased by your opinion.Whitaker was close fight, and so was Trininad.and magically of course Whitaker was robbed and Tito beat Oscar fair and square.

Oscar resume is very strong, yes he had losses.he also fought against everybody.

Undefeated Mosley,Trininad.longest reigning MW Hopkins,Pacquaio.no shame in losing to them, not at all.

Floyd has never fought the caliber of fighters who De La Hoya fought,

LW Marquez,Ortiz,Guerrero, grandpa Mosley,Cotto,Maidana,Hatton etc.. Are from different universum compared to those fighters.

Floyd resume is good, but Oscar is great.when you fought against other greats you tend to lose.

Floyd would never go undefeated trough Oscar resume.not in a million years.if you say,yes he would.

Then you are delusional and underrating atleast this generation greatest and Top15 ATG in Hopkins.prime Trinidad,Mosley,Pacquaio are also all 50-50 fights.Floyd never been in the ring with this kind of talent.maybe De La Hoya was only, and that was close fight with past his prime Oscar.

People are valuing undefeated resumes too much.

Calzaghe was undefeated and nobody rates him, even he has Hopkins in his resume.too bad Calzaghe was not american, that was his downfall.

Oscar is little bit underrated because he has couple of losses.

Chavez,Whitaker,Quartey,Camacho alone is hell of a resume.

Young Floyd got Oscar leftover Hernandez,Corrales,Castillo, and Gatti?(if we have to pick 4th,also Oscar beat him)

Then Oscar goes against Trinidad,Mosley x2,Vargas.

    Floyd proceeds to fight Judah,Baldomir,Hatton,Marquez

Then later on their careers Oscar goes against Hopkins,Sturm,Mayorga,Pacquaio

    Floyd goes against Mosley(old),Cotto,Alvarez,Maidana

Didn't include their fight to this list.i think it's easy to see which one have the better resume, and what path is easier to go undefeated.of course different times..

First I said arguably I didn't say it was a robbery Pea did in fact drop Oscar in that fight and he did clown him. With that said it was no robbery a close fight that could have gone either way. A robbery is Pea-JCC learn the difference.

Oscar was a much bigger man than PBF he drained himself to make 130 and it's probably they reason why he was dropped at those low weights because he was drained. He was bigger than PBF so he could handle 154 better and even 160. If PBF was a big as Oscar was then I would say without a doubt he would have a shot to beat Hopkins at 160. He had the type of style combined with his athletic ability to give Hopkins fits. IMO he would still beat Tito as is. The 0 does matter when you take in the quality of opposition that he faced his longevity. People like you tend to underrate PBF's resume and his H2H ability as a fighter. He is in fact the best fighter of his era.

All of these in bold were way past their best. Quartey was a good win though.
