I think Eubank jr wins since his father wouldn't put him in there if he didn't think he was ready. Also just going by the clip of him sparring with Froch he looked to be holding his own nicely.

Because he looks a good, talented fighter. I could see either guy winning. Good fight this.

Thought this is a good of a thread as any to throw in my 2 cents........

BJS Wins. In my mind and ill be saying that with a 90% certainty.

What I think will be interesting will be how Eubank deals with this fight. It will be his litmus test, reality check, chin check and distance check all in one. This fight even if he loses will be the telling of whether he will make it or not. It will go close to the distance.

If Eubank loses this fight I don't think it will mean he wont bet BJS in the future. As long as he shows what he's made of in this fight.

Making my decision while half way through the BJS/ryder fight and you have to realise BJS has fought and beat guys who have come to win, good fighters who have come to win. Eubank has fought........?

Eubanks posted a video on facebook of him hitting a wall bag earlier and mentioned BJS in the comments......sweet that wall bag isn't going to be fighting back hard for 12 rounds.

People think eubanks jr has devasting power and speed, he dont. hes got decent power and speed. hes beating up cans, its easy for a good puncher to knock over a can, bjs isnt a huge hitter so he make look less impressive, but if you look past his punching power which aint that bad, he moves better, he works harder and he outboxes better boxers for the 10-12 round duration. Chris Eubanks Jr better go out aggressive and look for that KO quick if he thinks he is some devasting force, because the better boxing skills belong to Billy Joe Saunders. The European Champion. Id even have John The Gorilla Ryder to beat Eubanks jr aswell at this stage.

The way he handled a heavier Froch in sparring is one of many reasons

    10-9 Eubank Jr :hey

Imagine Saunders sparring Froch, he'd be getting thrown around like a rag doll

Froch hasnt got the best defence nor is he the quickest, i bet many people beat carl froch in sparring, billy joe would land on him just as much as cej, nor does this play into froch's style of working 12rounds, this is 1 3min round, did they spar 12x3? And if it was a fight, do you think froch would let eubanks off the ropes? :blood he'd batter the man. And was this Carl Froch after doing sparring with loads more boxers, this was for the groves fight, they usually work you till your exhausted and throw in a fresh fighter as they done here. Chris Eubanks jr ive even rewatched a few off his fights, just to see something, the posturing, wasting rounds, getting hit then putting the gas on the pedal. that suggests to me he aint got the gas tank to keep punching for 12rounds.

I think Ryder will do better than all of them, he had loads still in the tank in that 12th round against BJS. Heard he has a head like a brick as well.

The sparring with Froch that the other fella posted, I have seen it before. One rounds worth of sparring? brilliant. lets see him ten rounds into a fight...

Apparently that was Froch's best round in the spar.

Has Froch's style ever struck anyone as a style that looks good in sparring?

Not a dig at Eubank Jr by the way, just a point

i think eubank will win this and he we will do it in style , yes it is his first big test that every boxer has to go through at the mid stage of there career , a lot gets mentioned about he has fought nobody up till now , that is true but then all fighters go through this barrier . people also seem unaware that CEJ has done a lot of work with both froch and mayweather camps this year and would have learnt a lot and gained huge confidence . i think BJS is more mouth than action and he will get found out against eubank . eubank senior is no idiot and he would not put his son in with BJS if he did not think he was ready .

eubank stops saunders inside of 8 rounds !!
