PBF lost it because he was inactive for over 12 months thus he was dropped from the ranking due to inactivity dumbass. Had he still be active he wouldn't have been dropped from his #1 ranking.

compared to Oscar it's lesser competition.

And Oscar was 34? If i remember at the time of Floyd fight,bu the way Chavez was 34 when he fight Oscar.good win for Floyd, but bad for Oscar.okay,whatever..

And of course because you are die hard Floyd fan, everybody ducks Floyd.only Maidana,Guerrero and Ortiz of world are true warriors who will step up.

Chavez and Whitaker are better wins than Castillo and Corrales.EASILY.

And you include Hatton and Marquez there...there is quite difference between Ricky Fatton and Felix Trininad.Marquez was career long LW,Oscar in the meantime challenged one of the greatest MW'S ever in Hopkins.yes definetly Floyd challenged him more than Oscar

And Cotto,Pacquaio beat him to pulp.again lesser competition compared to Oscar.who fought Pacqauio.(and again,i don't care who ducked who.both have their own share of ****** comments)*****s believe Floyd and *******s Pac.but that's different subject

And Oscar fought totally different Mosley than Floyd(again,i don't care who ducked who)
bottom line is,Oscar fought prime version and Floyd old version.

And again,Floyd has fought against some good/greats opponents.but it's ****** to say he was challenged more than Oscar..or is atleast comparable

Oscar has probably 4 top 50ATG opponents.Chavez,Whitaker,Pacquaio,Hopkins or atleast borderline,Floyd has still his precisious 0 also in this category

PBF is 37 and still on top Oscar was dressing in drag getting fat and in and out of rehab at 37.
Oscar fought a prime version of Mosley and lost twice a common theme when you mention his career. Good fighter good for the sport but fell short far too much to be considered an elite ATG. A top 55 or top 60 ATG is where I would rank him.

No need to go sensitive,i'm not even De La Hoya fan.i'm Floyd fan actually,or admire his skills.

I think people value undefeated records too much, they should look, who they went against.

Oscar may not be the greatest, but he tried to be the greatest.Floyd could be the greatest, but he didn't tried to be the greatest.

Nothing bad to say about both man.now i'm finished this subject, everybody have their opinions and usually those are strongs.maybe i think this agains someday and value them again,or not.never know

I said he had a better resume ..guess you missed that to argue your point !

Pea was closer to being prime than. Oscar was when he fought Floyd but I'll let you tell it

And the majority of the boxing public saw both those fights as robberies yet your going try educate me

i dont thinks is nessesarilly who he would beat but, i would say that as an ATG the following must be,not because they were unbeaten but because they tested themselves against the very best at the bests primes,

    Hopkins
    Trinidad
    Chavez
    Whitiker
Pacquiao -forget May, he fought everyone there was on the way to welterweight
    Mosely
and dont forget Gerano Hernandez had made 9 defences of his world title and was undefeated when challanged by DLH

all of the above never ducked anyone, and fought there biggest names ,win or lose , when there opponants were in there prime.

    Mosely (for obvious reasons)
Marquez would have been intersting at Lightweight
Corrales at Superfeather would be competitive

Turn it round who on DLH record would beat Mayweather ,at the time DLH fought them,

    Trindad WUD
    Mosely WUD
    Hopkins WUD
    Chavez at LWW LUD
Vargas and Mayorga would have been closer then Canelo.

a 39 year old mosley though against a younger de lahoya i dont think so

and a marqez coming up 2 division, marquez looked too small for floyd de la hoya is even bigger

i think oscar would beat corrales too, hes definetly more skilled and corrales wouldnt have the size advantage he normally had
