So this ref that was just KO'd and then beat up whilst lying on the floor...

    If it's the same vid I saw at another forum that ref totally deserved what he got. The crooked ******* just declared the kid TKO a couple of seconds into his fight while he was on his feet defending himself and throwing punches in the middle of the ring. I hope more of those crooked refs and judges get a look at this next time they think about sabotaging a young man's future.

    Anybody know what his record was?

    it was the third count in the round so was an automatic stoppage, from what you can see on the fast forward your tube clip he got dropped in the corner then came under fire for the next 2, but OTT response from a bad loser

    Anybody watch the Solis-Saglam fight? That ref was awful too (although Saglam did deserve it)

    Sabotaging a young mans future? Give me a break. A loss in the amateurs means nothing in terms of your potential earnings or future opportunities. This idiot sabotaged his own career by acting like a street thug and not like a professional sportsman. He's been banned for life and rightly so IMO.

    that referee got what he deserved, an emotionally invested boxer might snap, this kid trained hard for that fight and gets robbed like that ? Ko while he's standing with his gloves up and notifying the referee he's fine ? Funny.

    The guy who wins the fight runs out of fear from a guy he just beat...in a fight, thats bizarre, what exactly was he afraid of? he should have intervened

    these stoppages occur in amateur boxing all the time, even if you think it was prematüre you cannot justify savagely assaulting an official especially when he clearly waited until his gloves were off and he was close enough to land a KO punch and then continue the assault afterwards

    Assaulting the ref is awful, but what about the other boxer who just ran away instead of defending the ref? Isn't cowardice just as bad as a bad temper?

    And by the way, that stoppage was total bull-shiiiiiit!
