In of itself the Peds won't make you hit harder but the effects from the PEDS including better Endurance, stamina, alertness, faster reaction times, ability to train longer and harder and soak up more punishment...can all add up to help the boxer taking the PEDS become a much better and shaper all round athlete in the ring and therefore his punches will be crisper and more effective.

Wow he looked really good in albeit a brief fight. Take the belt away, fine him his purse, give him a six month suspension and drop him at least 8 spots in your rankings.

People who say that are so wrong! They need to do their study. Wrong by far...

Insinuations aren't libel, first off, and I didn't even insinuate anything. I said "I'm starting to wonder", because yes, there is obvious comedic value in the coincidence of the opponents in Kayode's last two meaningful bouts (incidentally, his first two real steps up in class - and his first two blemishes, with the original Tarver result a draw and obviously the ignominious KO1 defeat to Ortiz) coming out as failing a PED test.

Also, my understanding was that a B sample result never did come out for Tarver and he still today maintains his innocence and says the A sample was a false positive, and that his appeal was overturned by the commission even without the presence of a B sample result to back up the original suspension. :think

Are you kidding, most of the top boxers only fight once every 6 months any way so a 6 month ban isn't going to effect them.

I would say first offence would constitute a 2 YEAR BAN plus a 6 MONTH JAIL SENTENCE. The inclusion of a Jail sentence is simply because unlike other sports like the 100metres, the intent of Boxing is to physically harm your opponent and therefore the use of PEDS should be considered a separate entity altogether and something that can allow a Boxer to increase the physical harm on their oppoent through the use of Illegal substances.

A second offence would constitute a LIFE TIME BAN plus a 5 YEAR JAIL SENTENCE.

Some people may feel these two punishments are extreme but Boxing is an extreme sport and the use of PEDS within it should be deemed in the harshest possible way to act as a deterent for others.

amir was shocked when peterson tested positive and not him. why be shocked if u have nothing to worry about?

then kayode has two opponents test positive against him.

    missed your post. exactly!!!

is it a coincidence considering khan was "surprised peterson was the one that tested positive" and not him (his words not mine) when they fought?

Why just Ortiz gets suspended ? If he's guilty he needs banning but How is it other proven Juicers , including TMT fighters plus Mosely Jones jr. etc let to get away with it ??? The commissions are a joke

I am not surprised. I am sure Ortiz is not that stupid and he did not need anything more than his two arms.

    Read my post 3.october :
"If they watch the food and the water bottles and have a hotel that gives them good sleep
    then Ortiz gonna win easily.

"Remember you are alone a long way from home"
like they said in the 10CC song

When Kessler travelled to Cardiff to fight Calzaghe they believed it was a secret that Keesler had a hand injury. But you know with bugging and microphones...."
