Geale clocked him flush with a right hand, which resulted in him getting knocked out... In fairness, Geale isn't a power puncher but he can bang a bit
I do wish GGG would fight someone world class Not interested in him fighting Murray I would love to see him go up to super middleweight..... but he looks like hes going down and will carry on beating up the little guys A prime jermain taylor at middleweight or super would of been a fight i would of enjoyed
I like Murray but I just don't give him or any other MW a chance against GGG. If golovkin was to drop down I don't think mayweather would want anything to do with him but a fight with Alvarez could be interesting.
Seems from the interviews that they really are going to make this fight. Martin must be getting some serious dosh to contemplate it.
he threw punches something Murray wont do, he swallowed against Sergio and Felix and will do again probably last to 7 in a shockingly noncompetitive spectacle
I think its a sign of how good GGG is, that if he fights murray whose a top 10 MW, yet will be a massive favourite, probably 1/10 + previously KO artists had a signature shot ie left hook etc that they relied on, GGG is flooring people with upper cuts, body shots, left hand overhands in a orthodox stance, even taking a punch from geale yet still finding the power. would like to see the fight in England if it does happen, a bit venue in England will surely make more money than monte carlo.
It's a good name on the resume for GGG if he wins. As far as I'm concerned, Murray is unbeaten as - in my opinion - he was robbed by Martinez. Martinez was the MW king at the time as well
I agree Murray would be the only one to give Golovkin something to think about. He's got a pretty thick coat (punch resistance), and decent range. He wouldn't need to get ridiculously close to land punches unlike a Macklin or Curtis Stevens. Golovkin would break him down in the end though.
Agree with who, exactly? No one is saying that but you. Murray is so one paced, predictable and one dimensional that he would never threaten GGG. With the right tactics Macklin could have done better. The tactics he used..as devised by his then trainer Buddy McGirt ...were suicidal.
