Gennady Golovkin vs Andre Ward

I can't believe the forum has GGG on par with Ward. GGG is way over hyped because of his style and not because of his wins.

He's a tough KO artist but he's not tough enough to knock Ward out in one punch or to outbox Ward. He'd be humiliated and possibly knocked out by Ward actually.

People thought Chad Dawson could beat Ward and Ward humiliated him yet people think GGG can go up in weight and somehow KO Ward?

You can't hit GGG without getting hit yourself, boxing's #1 offense also has a great defense. Ward has a good chance, but the guy that can beat Triple G is going to need a better chin and punch than Ward.

 

Ward could not possibly hurt Golovkin he has never been down in over 400 Fights....but I think Golovkin could definately Hurt Ward especially if Ward wants to fight in close.!!!!

I don't think Ward is stronger than Golovkin. Ward might be able to outsmart him or out-speed him but I don't think he can bully him with size/strength.

Dawson took a knee to get out of there, so it goes down in the book as a KO. Still no demonstration of great punching power. In reality, Dawson quit.

 

And still end up on his back inside the distance.

Andre's going to get hit, and he's going to get hurt. Once he is, an elite finisher like GGG's not letting him off the hook.

Ward may well be up on points when it happens.
