    Yes I've seen the fight Firtha is terrible even with a broken hand he should have stopped him. What's your excuse for why he couldn't stop Huck, USS Cunningham stopped him FFS

    That's my point. Povetkin is being Overrated.
    Big fan of Cunningham but he's not a KO machine, granted it was a TKO in the last round.

    Povetkin was in bad shape against Huck. USS is a top class boxer.

    How is he overrated? Huck is a great fighter, he's cleaning out one of the stronger cruiser divisons in some time. At 6'2", 77" and 210, he's HW sized so no shame in that.


    Huck has fought plenty of punchers since Cunningham, guys like Lebedov, and been fine. Just a special performance from Cunningham, who is really excellent in his own right.

    Takam has never fought a truly biggish puncher, so his chin wasn't incredibly good, it was a good win for Povetkin but people are vastly overrating him just like they did Perez and Charr and any other HW they think could vaguely bother Wlad. Klitschko haters are very irrational.

    I've done tribute threads to Huck and Cunningham,I know how good they are, but if Povetkin was sooooooo great shouldn't he been able to walk right through Huck???
    Its more based on my dislike for Alexander I don't like Povetkin never have, don't know why.

    one thing about povetkin, he doesnt fight bums, he takes risky fights, fights like this bringing the HW division alive again.

    Like many others before him, Povetkin went downhill while working with Teddy Atlas (who had been working with him for a year or two before the Huck fight).

    It took Povetkin a year to return to his former self.

    I think Povetkin is excellent and Huck is just a better boxer. Povetkin possibly did take him too lightly and wasn't in the best of shape, but Huck's jab is the best above 175 lbs bar Wlad, nobody is walking through that. Povetkin tried and got stunned. We'll see if they ever have a rematch.

    Povetkin had a bad run of lazy performances and crappy hand picked opponents, he also ducked Wlad with all those inexcusable last minute pull outs, but since dumping Atlas, he's becoming likable again.
