No matter what the haters say Sasha constantly keeps putting them back in their place.

he is not even top 50 Russian atg, Russia produced plenty of amateurs better than him.

to call him a great russian is insulting to he pedigree of a country like Russia, but if you want to **** on Russia the go ahead..

Must be a lock for the top 30 now at the very least.

For what accomplishments? Interim beltholder, and few quality wins over Chambers, Takam, Huck, past it Chagaev and shot Chris Byrd, too little as of now.

Nah, but probably second best of the late 00s.

People called me crazy but I rank him above comeback Vitali. Better wins over Byrd, Chambers, Chageav, officially Huck, and now Takam.

Povetkin is a great HW, h2h he's easily a top 50 atg, but not resume wise. if he wins the wbc and defends a few times then maybe.. he might be able to rule the divison for a while after wlad retires, I think Pov is at his peak right now... so we'll see what he can do.

He is clearly now in top 100. Would have to do some research where to place him but today was a big win over Takam. He just hasn't faded into obscurity like a lot of contenders that lose to a champion.

Who is less accomplished on that list?

Yes I see Povetkin beating Corbett for sure, but does that mean he should rank higher than Corbett in all time list?

Let's compare Ruiz and Povetkin resume (not skills)

Old Holy > past it Chagaev
    Old Tucker = Old Byrd
    Kirk Johnson=Eddie Chambers
    prime Rahman>Marco Huck
    Golota>Takam
    McCline>40 y.o. Donald

So John Ruiz overall has better list of wins, but Povetkin is still active and may get few more quality wins in the future.
