hopkins only chance is to take kovalev into the late rounds, and hope he can't handle it.

This will be an interesting match for sure

Some days I'm thinking Kovalev runs Bernard over and absolutely destroys him, and on others I'm thinking Bernard grabs, jabs, and aggregates the hell out of Kovalev to a decision win, or maybe even a late tko win by catching Kovelev on a counter once he gets annoyed and careless

Either way I think this will be a very interesting fight, would be a good story regardless of who wins. Either the old man really is an alien, or we have a new legit champ to grasp the torch

Picking Bernard in this fight is a respectable opinion. He has the fouling, spoiling skills to frustrate many a younger and lesser fighter.

But KOvalez is not one of the Iraqi or Egyptian cab drivers Bernard has been feasting on for the last few years. KOvalev has all the skills and ability to knock Bernard spark out, and I fully expect that to happen. Unless Bernard fakes some absurd foul early on, and cries and cheats his way out of this fight. The man literally has no shame.

I have never seen Hopkins really hurt, he struggles with speedy fighters with volume and boxing skills. Kovalev has immense power but Bernard should be able to survive the onslaught and start doing his thing in the later rounds. I´m going with a Draw or a Hopkins SD

He chooses the most dangerous fighter in his weightclass.......Really hope he wins this one with his kind of skill level....But indeed it's a risky figh for Hopkins. He could've taken an easier one, alwas looking for challenges.

It all depends on how Hopkins is able to perform without showing signs of age or getting tired. If he's able to perform like he did against Pascal then this fight is his.

Always looking for challenges even though he's 50 years old. The next time you will be able to say that about any Boxer is probably never.

If he can avoid being hit from Kovalev heavy shots, its his fight.......think that he will find a way during the fight as he adapts to Kovalevs style.
