That interview was very telling. BJS is already coming out with stuff like 'if he's the better man he's the better man'. That's not confident talk.

It's still a pickem, and talking ain't fighting but BJS is not 100% confident of being able to beat him. That speaks volumes.

I fail to see why on a few gym sessions and sparring sessions people are claiming eubank jr as the next coming of ali. When he started out everyone was saying he is awful this and that now its flipped and he is a wonder boy!

The fact remains the best guy he beat is terry carruthers ffs in a close ish fight lol

As for the sparring technically as everyone knows froch is not the best so would be dissappointed if eubank did not have some success,id be amazed if billy joe didnt look amazing if he sparred froch.Plus who to say that wasnt last hard round of a bid day for froch and eubank was sparring fresh? After all would make sense to have froch the more tired of fighters when he preparing for a fight.

The groves spar eubank had success well its well known at times groves can be awful in sparring.Nick blackwell has sparred both and sides with saunders who he also lost to in a fight therfore i think that coupled with bjs much stronger resume and amateur pedigree should be very telling.Id back proven v potential every time .

Some fighters can be fast tracked as they got 'it' I'm really starting to think
Chris Jnr might be one of those kids- he beats BJS on a late stoppage

Benn had been beaten before and as the saying goes a boxer beats a puncher so wasnt the geratest surprise.

What this fight comes down to is if CEJ can hurt BJS early...if he can't, then he will lose the fight.

CEJ loads up on his shots and admittedly has plenty behind them, but that is not sustainable for 12 rounds. Despite BJS not being a physical specimen, he does throw a lot of punches and has done the 12 rounds, so his stamina is assured.

CEJ just trains and trains....its all year round not just for scheduled fights. Totally old school

I have no doubts about his stamina, its his work rate that i have doubts about. If this fight goes the distant can CEJ out work BJS.
I'm not so sure he can, so for me it has to be a KO for CEJ if he is to win.

What a great fight, so looking forward to this one, really hope CEJ is the real deal we need another eubank on the world stage

    d) Has close friends who have put "BIG money" on him to win, no doubt due to Bill convincing them this is a "cert"

    e) Swore on his five year old sons life he would would win

    f*cking hell Billy

So in short, unemployed, skint and dead.

theres no puncher so have to look at the skills and workrate which is bjs.Eubank never knocks anyone cold these journeymen dont exactly look like they struggling with eubanks power

I think judging will ultimately play a big role as well. What do you score higher volume less clean punching from bjs vs lower volume cleaner punching from cej. Might come down to judging preference or who can make the biggest impression on the judges. Cej could make bjs look bad if he makes him miss enough and he could frustrate the hell out of him. Interesting matchup for sure.
