He is not fleet of foot, is always grounded to the floor and comes straight ahead. He is not in my opinion a versatile boxer/puncher. Just a good puncher. Also look at their temperament. Maidana isn't afraid to get hit so he let his hands go more so than Alvarez who was very hesitant

He never gave Maidana the same opportunity again. He adjusted on the fly and Maidana did not get close again.

 

Maidana could have seriously hurt Floyd even further if the rnd didn't end at that exact second .

After that punch connected , Floyd was staggered and vulnerable . His body language said it all .

Had Chino swarmed him , no doubt Floyd would have hit the canvas hard .
