Wilder, Canelo, Maidana, Lara must leave... Adonis is more proven than GGG... As is Kovalev probably. Ward has fought like 2x in past 3 yrs.

Yes, he has proven that he has major flaws and that his skills aren't on Golovkin's level. That much is proven, no doubt. Similar goes to Kovalev.

Literally, the top fighters in the sport are of course heavyweights, but if we talking about the overall best guys with regard to their weight classes, the story is obviously different.

Rigondeaux is probably the best boxer I've seen. His footwork, movement and coordination is unrivaled by anyone. He is virtually never out of position and that's something extremely rare to see. Nobody is smarter and more skilled than Rigo.

Obviously Klitschko has to be at one of the top spots, but in the comparisons like this, it's the best to exclude the heavyweights for obvious reasons. Anyway, Wlad's jab and distance control are on the highest possible level, plus he has good wrestling skills just in case.

As for Andre Ward, for the most part I didn't think of him as much as I did of Mayweather for example, but if we pay attention to his fights and also to his concept of boxing, he is an incredibly smart guy. Some may compare him to Hopkins, but Ward has many things that Hopkins never had. He is surely one of the best in the game (his only kryptonite could likely be Andre Dirrell though).

Also Mayweather is obviously up there as well, although he does seem to be significantly slower than before, and his reflexes are not that good anymore as well. He is still very experienced but he is also a bit of a question mark now in my opinion. I'm not sure if his style would work on someone like Lara, especially at this point in his career.

Obviously there has to be a place for Pacquiao as well, although his and Floyd's time is slowly fading away at welterweight.

Golovkin is also one of the obvious answers. It would take either very smart and all rounded boxer (like Ward) or a significantly bigger guy to defeat him (Ward is actually a combination of both). He could also have problems with speed but he is very smart himself so the speed itself is not enough.

Lomachenko's time is coming as well. His skills are actually second only to Rigondeaux in my opinion. Also, Loma most likely being the favorite over everyone in his division after just 3 pro fights is just a testament to his abilities.

Rigo is actually the lowest division boxer I watch in the pros so I can't really judge those extremely small weight guys like Roman Gonzalez for example.

There are also many of up and coming guys as well who could take the torch and surpass the current generation.

Also, for those who don't track, I'd like to mention a couple of Olympic boxing guys as well, as some of them are extremely good.

Also, by the way, I don't think that I would favor any of the LHW champions in the pros against Julio Cesar la Cruz over 5 rounds in WSB. For those who don't ttack Olympic boxing and WSB, check this Cuban out.

I scored their fight a draw. I also scored both Bradley's fights for Pacquiao, and had Provodnikov up by a point. Bradley is lucky and overhyped. He's good but not top ten good.
