Bundu is a top level fighter.

The people calling him a bum have never seen him fight.

Note that Porter was heavily favored against Brook in the US. Just because Brook was too smart for limited Porter and exposed his flaws, doesn't mean that Thurman is able to do the same.

Bundu will likely be a prohibitive underdog against Thurman, too. But I think he's good enough that he shouldn't be dismissed simply because he's fought exclusively in Europe throughout this career.

His biggest wins have also been away from home so travelling to the states will not phase him

He isn't really to be honest - Bundu is getting on a bit so we'll see how much gas he's got left in the tank, but in terms of technical ability he's leagues ahead of Porter. I believe he - Bundu - had a pretty illustrious amateur career as well?

WEll Im not one of the yanks who said that about Brook.. BRook is one of the few British fighters I do think highly of and I knew all along that he was going to beat Porter.. Porter is wild and one dimensional.. he sucks..

Bundu doe... oh man he's a feckin epitome of a Eurobum..

His career highlight was winning a bronze medal at the world amateurs, which to be honest is a pretty decent achievement in its own right. Not bad at all.

Well I wouldn't say that he is a big underdog, more like a live underdog, but yes, I've noticed that many guys here don't even know who he is, despite beating better opponents than Thurman. I think that it will be a good fight due to styles, and it wouldn't surprise me if Bundu upset him. However, I don't think that either guy is an elite boxer.

Please refer me to any post that will back up ur claims?

I saw no one from across the pond thinking a Brook had any sort of a chance against Porter

Only retrospectively he has been given his dues on this forum

And please elaborate on ur sweeping claim that Bundu is a euro bum. Explain to me exactly what flaws he has as a boxer?

yeah the man is 39 years old, im not saying he is a bad fighter but i dont think he is an upper echelon welterweight figter, and my main thing is that if thruman wins it doesn really futher him and hes ment to be trying to fight mayweather.

Ive only seen bits of bundu to be honest but compare his fight with purdy to devon alexander who porter hammered it does tell you a little bit about the levels. Devon just teed off on Purdy all night, while bundus fight with Purdy was very tough and competeive.
