How close is Povetkin to Vitali's resume?

Like i said you could move Huck up a place beside JCG although Gomez is a better fighter and more natural HW.

- I placed Huck on par with Hide because he is a more proven and dangerous HW with his power but you could argue Huck's toughness offsets that.

- Sanders was faded too but coming off the Volodymyr win and a more dangerous opponent for Vitali than Chagaev was to Povetkin because of what they offer, that one is close though and i wouldnt argue someone saying they're on par.

- Peter may have lost to Chambers but he was reigning WBC champ when Vitali beat him.

So placing JCG/Huck and Hide/Takam is plenty reasonable.

 

Huck over Hide because of his CW accomplishments. He could rack up a few decent other wins at HW when he moves up.

Sanders was out over a year and didn't even have the title he won from Wlad. He was also in the worst shape of his career.
Douglas had just come off the Tyson win when Holyfield beat him for the undisputed HW championship. Despite that Douglas isn't Holy's best win.
Sanders wasnt a major player, its just Wlad is overrated. He really should not of been any threat to Vitali and the fight proved it.

Their records seem neck n neck to me and Pov still has time to make his better.

 

If Povetkin beats Jennings or the winner of Wilder-Stiverne, he'll have a better resume than Vitali.

Also, Povetkin's win over Takam makes Wlad look pretty good.
