Anyone else sick of hearing about this gym? Other than sharing it's name with a venue that has held some of the biggest fights in history (a move the cynic in me is suspicious of) I'm getting sick of this gym, what has it achieved?
Spot on, ain't no boxer training there who isn't in the twilight of their career or actually have a decent chance of becoming a great pro
Eh Bradley Saunders trains there, Stephen Simmonds, Iain Butcher and that's only a few I'm sure loads of top fighters use the gym Isn't BJS there in camp for CEJ now Jimmy Tibbs wouldn't go there if it wasn't a top gym
In all honesty I'm surprised the jamie Moore shooting hasnt put more people off going out there, can see why they'd want to do some warm weather training and it's not too far but not a fan of anywhere which is filled with english people and is warm

I dont see any there lads doing very well tbh, the jurys out and there getting exposure with there tie in with Kungfu panda and IFL TV etc , Derry Matthews fought on saturday and it looked like a white collar bout Tom Stalker was dog**** and got sparkled Bradley Saunders is talented but seems injury prone and on a jolly i dont see that as doing very well tbh
The boxers are paying next to nothing to train there and it has accommodation on site - Macklin is known for having links with Irish gangsters, those same Irish gangsters have a £5m property in Marbella and part "fund" the MGM gym. Jamie Moore was shot at the property of these Irish gangsters in a case of "mistaken identity" - I was never very good at math but I'm adding 2 + 2 here and getting 5. It's a tax write off/money cleaner, clear as day.
