Does somebody want to tell me how Wlad beats 93' Morrison? I believe The Duke would lay him out. Too fast. Too good on his feet. Better all around movement. He thew a left hook so fast , you needed the slow mo cam to see it in motion. He had better jab. Duke could snap out 3 jabs faster than Wlad can throw a single one. His agility and head movement was all wrong for a straight shooter like The Klitschko. His reflexes were to sharp. He moved around you and gave angles better that anybody Wlad faced. Giving Wlad angles is how you beat him. Sanders did it. Willaimson did it. Who did Wlad beat that used a variety of movement to off sett his 1-2 shots? The hooks Duke landed on Foreman would off sparked out anybody fighting in todays division. He used great use of skills to shut out Foreman. Foreman was too timid to even throw over getting counterd so bad. Foreman brought pressure and still couldn't handle Tommy. Wlad wouldn't dare walk him down. The battering Duke gave Mercer would of folded Wlad after the first two rounds . I see Tommy easily throwing off Wlads game with speed and movement. He counters over the jab with a blazing right hand or a lighting left hook under the jab.
Depends where this fight takes place, in Germany Wlad will clinch and hug to a decision. Outside of Germany, Tommy has more of a chance. Tommy has a punchers chance. But i think Wlad would be weary of that and prepare for him accordingly. Actually Morrison and Wlad have a lot in common
Well, Dino As we all know, you have a horrible track record when calling Wlad fights. Povetkin certainly did not knock Wlad out as you continously insisted would happen. You have picked Pulev to beat Wlad but lack no confidence and backed out of an account bet with me as the fight loomed. You won't bet on Pulev, you won't bet on Morrison, you will just claim it will happen and than cry afterwards when it doesn't. :hi:
Tommys left hook to the body was a brutal punch and he wasn't afraid to dig it in. Duke could well KO Wlad with body blows. Don't see hugging being effective. He moved in behind fast jabs and was too good on his feet. Not a great mover , but against Wlad he would be the best Wlad faced and Wlad was blasted out by worse guys.
Valeuv could beat anybody in history if he used Wlads strategy against Povetkin. Doesn't mean he could beat them in a boxing match. In fact Valeuv never in his career reduced himself to Wlads level. He didn't need to. Wlad is a figure of your imagination
Vlad K and quick, a jab wobbles Tommy and Vlad is forced to pick up the pace quicker than normal with a hook and a right hand, Tommy goes down 2X and the ref stops it
Wlad never wobbled anybody with a jab. Not even weak chined , stationary target Haye, in fact it was Wlad who was wobbled by a jab round 2 or 3 vs Brewster. So it only stands to reason Tommys faster jab would would get off and wobble Wlad first. Thats the reality perception , not the fantasy version, ok Bummy?
Dino, Morrison was wobbled by a jab by Carl Williams and Yuri Vahulin. You make many comments, but keep in mind there are some here who actually saw the fights. Wlad's jab would find its mark. Tommy was not one for defense, and faded as the rounds rolled on. He had a great left hook, but Wlad keeps a high guard to stop that punch. The fight could be a bit like Lewis vs Morrison. No way Morrison takes Wlad laser like right hand. I'd take Wlad via TKO in the middle rounds.
Morrison has a punchers chance for about 5 rounds imo. After that Wlad would gradually grind him down for late stoppage I stipulate late because Wlad doesn't take any chances until he has drawn the teeth of his opposition . I think Pulev is pretty bad as far as skills go ,and unless Wlad has gone back considerably ,[a possibility at his age,]I expect him to stop Pulev in around 8 rounds .
Vlad is very accurate and almost any punch he lands with authority can shake a fighter, Vlad has one of the most powerful jabs I have seen and I been watching the game for sometime but never the less Vlad will rock Tommy early and take him out early ....reality
Williams had a great jab and out jabbed Holmes. He wipped out that jab from all different positions , its not comparable to Walds out stretched , pawing range finder. Wlads jab is more comparable to Foremans when they fought -although still not as good- Tommy made George pay brutally when he tried jabbing him to the point George barely even threw it. Wlad wouldn't withstand the puching power of Morrison landing flush off the counter.
