Joe Calzaghe retired 46-0 (32) in 2008. Get over it. Fans & haters; quit trolling!

Loving the posts about Cal and everyone debunking the myth of him. He is a very good boxer but the way he went about his business was all wrong. That's why I will always give someone like Froch so much more credit, and have him ranked higher than him, despite Cal being a better boxer. Why? It's about testing yourself. It's ok to beat up guys that are beneath you in ability, but when you're faced with boxers that are on par or better, then that's the mark of a true great.

Froch went all over the world to face the best in his division. He didn't take the easy route and neither did he dodge anyone. He even avenged his losses bar Ward. Whereas Cal stayed at home and waited for the threat level to go down. He pretty much missed everything barring a close win against Bhop. Again, he refused a rematch, which goes against him in my opinion.

Beat a prime Roy LOOOOL. He knew, including the rest, that RJJ was on another planet at his prime. He could have gone to the states much earlier, but didn't. Other UK fighters have gone the US route to increase their profile, Benn was a great example, as is Froch.

Cal - Coulda, Shoulda but DIDN'T.

How do you know Hopkins was at his best against Joe?

Calzaghe got mad skills and i respect him,but you are totally biased towards Joe.

Claiming it was best Hopkins we have ever seen,and saying Joe toyed with him.it was close fight,no matter how much you flip flop it.only biased people like you had it easily for Joe,or biased who had it for B-Hop.

Calzaghe could have been far more greater,undefeated resume and beating Hopkins is something to think about.but Joe resume is too thin,to really rate him as top ATG fighter.

And don't hate me.i atleast give full credit for Joe beating Hopkins(altough i had it draw)but win is a win.

Both were slightly past their primes.or had better showings earlier in their careers.it would have been interesting to see Joe and Bernard fighting 4-5 years earlier.it would have been more meaningful to beat Hopkins then.atleast according to historians.

And you can't add Calzaghe more ATG points,based on what Hopkins is doing now.it just doesn't work that way.if Joe wants credit,go on the ring and beat Froch,Ward,Stevenson all are free now.

Hopkins is a racist but in simply boxing terms he is greater than Calzaghe, and I say that in spite of liking Calzaghe as a person and disliking Hopkins.

I started reading the thread thinking you were just an idiot after you called someone out about how many views their profile had (something only a nerd would do). I finished reading the thread thinking you're also a racist aswell as an idiot.
